By fusing biometric, document, device, and location factors into a single tamper-proof verification in real time, Polyguard stops fake candidates in remote interviews, social-engineering attacks against IT help desks, and account-takeover fraud. The platform combines smartphone-based facial recognition with 3D depth analysis, NFC cryptographic chip reading of government-issued ID documents, hardware-backed device attestation through Apple AppAttest and Google Play Integrity, and PG-Presence (Polyguard's patented optical distance-bounding technology for preventing location spoofing). All biometric processing runs on the user's own device, and verification results are transmitted as cryptographically signed tokens, not raw biometric data.
