Earlier we have used Bosch in-house tool called Prime to book our effort against our assigned task. After merger, we have started using Planisware for the same. In this the reporting, booking effort is made simple and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since all the organizations mandates the effort tracking, we need Planisware or the other for sure. So, I dont see any issue or dislike in this tool. May be the cost of deployment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I miss the ability to create tabs in the views. It is cumbersome to review the Data management rules and which one is in 'play'. It would be helpful to find a way to display the Data Management Rules highlight which rule in play in a table format as way to manage and view them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planisware is great for its bread and butter... integrated timeline and resource management. There are other capabilities it provides including some light reporting and workflow management, but most implementations are to improve the timeline and resource management capability. The configurability is also quite strong and a proficient admin team can create many interesting capabilities out of the box and minimize spend on custom work. Integrations are a point that needs to be improved in future releases. Namely we'll want to support high performance and close-to-realtime access to the data for downstream reporting. Planisware is right now limited to basic file-based integrations for mass movement of data. It does have an oData API, but two issues with that are performance with high volume of data, and security, since it currently only supports basic auth. During an implementation it is essential to consider how the product will be supported long term. It is essential to have team members that are super users and trained by the vendor to support the organization efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This tool is very robust and complete for the management and programming of projects in a company, which has an interface that can be said to be friendly for the most part. It is easy to carry out follow-ups and collaborative tasks in an organized work structure. I really like the integration of various features that make it up in addition to project management, such as resource management, budgeting and constant time tracking of project deadlines.
