Many Finance teams still run these processes across disconnected ERP exports and Excel workbooks. Data must be collected from different entities and account structures have to be aligned manually. This results in reporting becoming difficult to reconcile, govern and trace. Connect NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP to one governed source of truth. Before this, much of my work depended on spreadsheets, manual adjustments and checking whether numbers tied back correctly. Planir gave a clearer way to manage group-level reporting, review entity-level numbers and understand where adjustments were coming from. It made the consolidation process feel more controlled and less dependent on a single person manually managing everything across files. **What do you dislike about Planir?** The setup does requires some time upfront because the system needs to reflect the way entities, accounts and reporting structure works for our company. It is not something you should rush.. but the Planir team was pretty helpful in guiding us through the process. **What problems is Planir solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planir reduces the manual effort around consolidation and reporting. The biggest benefit is having a more structured process instead of relying on disconnected files and manual updates. It gives the finance team one place to manage the workflow and makes it easier to understand how the numbers connect. It is especially useful for businesses that need to plan at a more detailed level, whether by entity, department, project, customer, cost centre, or operational driver. **What do you dislike about Planir?** Like any FP&A system, the quality of the setup depends on how clearly the business defines its reporting and planning requirements upfront. It will takes time to think through the structure properly. **What problems is Planir solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planir helps us manage planning and reporting with better visibility, better control and less manual reconciliation. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Planir?** I attended the Claryx.ai webinar and got a much clearer understanding of the platform, including the new releases and upcoming features coming this month. That gave me even more confidence in the direction of the product especially as a new user and having used other software in the market. What also stood out was how responsive the team was during and after the webinar. Whenever I had questions, they provided quick, clear, and helpful responses through the chatbot and email support which made the experience much easier for our team. **What do you dislike about Planir?** Nothing else other than mentioned previously. **What problems is Planir solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Claryx.ai, our group consolidation was a mix of spreadsheets across multiple entities and currencies, which was both time-consuming and manual which meant that it was prone to error. Claryx.ai allowed us to centralize the consolidation process eliminating, FX translation, and group reporting, meaning now it all happens in one place. This has now shortened our month-end close and improved the accuracy of our consolidated financials. Now I'm able to get timely visibility into group performance across all subsidiaries. ### 4. We've tried a few AI tools and most of them looked impressive in demos but didn't really fit how we work day-to-day. Claryx.ai is one of the few that actually stuck. What I appreciate is that it handles the time-consuming parts of our work well. It's also fairly easy to use, so the team picked it up quickly even the colleagues who are not so techy. No long training sessions needed. Customer support also responds pretty quickly when we ask questions **What do you dislike about Planir?** Sometimes the output is a bit too long-winded and I have to trim it down myself. **What problems is Planir solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time, mainly. At work there's always more to do than hours in the day, and a lot of it is the same kind of report processes. Claryx helps me get through that faster so I can focus on the parts of the job that actually need me talking to people, making decisions, thinking properly about problems. ### 5. Assumptions, inputs, updates and reports are easier to manage because they are not spread across multiple spreadsheet versions. **What do you dislike about Planir?** Some users may need time to adjust if they are used to owning their own Excel files independently. **What problems is Planir solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gives us management of budgeting and forecasting with better control.
