The templates are well-made and save a ton of time, especially if you’re working on multiple projects or need to keep things consistent across teams. The platform is intuitive, even if you’re not a video editor, you can get solid results in minutes. Definitely useful when speed and visual quality both matter. I use Pitchy to create videos for our collegaues. The ability to create branded templates and formats means that the whole team is creating consistent look of videos and the amount of options mean we can make a range of videos. I cannot say something really negative about Pitchy. As always, there are limits within a predesigned tool (e.g. references are hard to insert to a video or character limits can be annoying) but I learned to switch either to another graphic style or use the help of an external tool such as Canva. The fact that you cannot adjust very much in templates. Sometimes we want to create videos from a certain template but don't like a specific frame or would like to add a frame that is not included in the template. Then we need to choose a frame from the template to add.

Or sometimes, when we select a frame we like, and the text is positioned in a certain place but we would like to change it, it's impossible because of the template frame.

Creating professional looking videos in a very short time is the main stregnth of Pitchy. The interface is super intuitive and once you are used to the process, it can be very fast. Faster than writing a script and gathering content for an external provider. Plus sometimes, the storyline I have in mind changes as I create the video, since I am in control ,I can play around, test two different sequences for a part of it and see which one works best.

Last but not least, Pitchy is a great way to bring some creative & fun into my daily work which can be very "administrative" sometimes.

After using Pitchy for quite some time, I feel limited to a couple of templates (the library is big, but the "older" templates are less appealing to me). Yet I know that they are again focusing on adding more multipurpose templates to the library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
