"Pimly is a Major Upgrade for Product Data Management in Salesforce"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

I love how seamlessly Pimly integrates with Salesforce and how much easier it is to manage our complex product catalog compared to our old in-house system. The interface is much nicer, the S3 bucket integration was extremely straightforward, and updating specs now takes minutes instead of days. The readiness line helps us pinpoint missing data, and the overall data loading and modification process has been smooth and efficient. The fact that all product info can be updated in one place and syndicates everywhere is a huge time saver for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pimly?

The main thing I'd like to see improved is more ways to customize the product page layout. While the default groups and layout work well, as a developer I'd love the ability to add custom sections, like drag-and-drop areas for specs or diagrams, or to have more control over the page's structure directly in Pimly. It would be great if this level of customization was more accessible or documented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative for Product Data Centralization and Sales Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

I really appreciate how Pimly has centralized all our product data, making it a single source of truth for product managers, sales, and support. The inheritance feature, in particular, has been a game changer, reducing the workload for building and enriching product data by around 60% on releases. Now our sales and support teams can access images, recommended accessories, and assets like data sheets and drawings directly in Salesforce, which has made quoting and support much more efficient and improved the overall quality of our product releases. What do you dislike about Pimly?

The biggest pain point has been around bulk uploading product data from Excel. There’s a lot of confusion about how to format unique identifiers and delimiters, which can be frustrating for users who only do this a couple of times a year. The tool could be more intuitive or offer better guidance for infrequent users so that everyone feels empowered, not just the 'Pimly person' on the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Centralized Product Data Solution for Complex Configurations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

I really appreciate that Pimly is built on Salesforce, which makes integration with our existing systems much more streamlined. It's been able to handle our extremely configurable product structure, which is no small feat. Having a central hub for all our product information, instead of scattered systems, is a huge improvement. The vision of being able to update product data in one place and have it sync everywhere is exactly what we needed, and Pimly is getting us there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pimly?

The main challenge has been with the integrations. Setting everything up and getting all systems to talk to each other has taken longer than expected, partly due to turnover and resource balancing. We're still not fully integrated, and some manual processes remain. While that's not entirely Pimly's fault, it's a pain point. Also, a more seamless partnership with middleware integrators could help some companies, though it's not something we would use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Product Data Management and Integration with Pimly"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

I really appreciate how Pimly has centralized our product data and made it much easier to push updates to all our environments—Salesforce, the partner portal, and our .coms. The integration means product marketing can control their own data and assets, reducing lead time and removing the dependency on IT or ERP teams. The support team is responsive, and enhancements are added to the roadmap quickly. The productivity gains and control over data have been significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pimly?

Since Pimly is a newer product, there are some limitations in how icons are displayed, filtering options, and the general data viewing experience. These aren't dealbreakers, but they do require submitting support tickets and waiting for them to be added to the roadmap. It's also important to do your homework on what fields you need, as we initially included some that turned out to be unnecessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Product for our Use Case"
5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

We've been using Pimly as our PIMDAM solution to store and manage images for our business to surface on our B2B website, and it's been a game changer to avoid using Salesforce storage in order to store high quality images and videos. Their team was incredibly helpful during implementation and have continued to provide fast, reliable support whenever issues arise. Pimly makes managing our digital assets simple and efficient — we’re really pleased with the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pimly - A few additional updates away from being perfect"
4/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

Pimly formatting allows for quick and easy content generation for the online shopping platform. Allowing products to be quickly created, edited, and completed within a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pimly?

Transfer issues still occur. Sometimes what pops up on our webpage, is not what was intended in either formatting or content verbiage. Doesn't happen often anymore but can occasionally still occur if one isn't taking the correct steps to avoid it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pimly - Salesforce SI Partner Review"
5/5
What do you like best about Pimly?

Well first and foremost as a Salesforce Implementor, it would be the fact that there is a PIM built natively on the platform. In terms of specific features beyond that, as a Salesforce B2B implementor, Pimly has been truly revolutionary in its ability to bring products to the Commerce site in an automated fashion. This was previously entirely manual and fraught with challenges.

I think in the future the number 1 factor will prove to be the delivery of product data at the hands of all Salesforce users as companies evolve incorporate this product data into all facets of the customer experience.

For now though, the ability to bring products into the commerce site is such a game changer that it would have to be my favorite thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pimly?

Pimly is extremely powerful for companies that have selected Salesforce for commerce and for other operational aspects and in that regards there is no comparison. For companies that are seeking to syndicate products to other channels and marketplaces, there is some work involved. Its absolutely possible, but I don't think it is the current focus of the product (Ex. Amazon, Walmart) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
