PHPRunner has consistently and reliably allowed me to create multiple web based CRUD applications that scale and have great speed. The application is used to generate and create each application as such the cost of each additional application beyond the first one is free and there is zero lock in of all applications created. I personally like to pay an annual fee but I know that all my applications created will still work indefinitely should I stop my subscription. They don't force you to host with them once the application has been created and you can deploy your created applications anywhere. As a result there is very minimal lock in. It comes with scaffolding that makes two factor authentication and if you choose their php product you can host this on any shared hosing cpanel cloud hoster making it extremely flexible. I have been using PHPRunner for many years and am currently using version 11.2 and eagerly awaiting the next version. I like the simplicity of use and yet complexity it offers for applications.

It is feature rich with plenty of useful features and addins. The number of templates available is also a reason that I use it.

I have been using PHPRunner for 10+ years now. We are a general contractor for building new homes. It allows us to easily manage interactive portals for all of our trade partners and customers while integrated seamlessly with our in-house MySQL database. Implementing it took very little time - I did not need to know any code. It actually helped me learn some code as I became more familliar with it. The team is very responsive to all of the support questions/issues I have had. Encouraging that they continue releasing new versions (with lots of enhancements/improvements) - meaning this will be a tool we'll be able to use for many many years! There are sometimes elements on a page that you do not know exactly what they will look like in a web browser until building out the pages. The Style page helps a bit. I’ve been using PHPRunner since version 5.1. It’s my favorite tool for building web, database-driven applications, and I’ve created numerous apps with PHPR, including some that I provide as SaaS solutions.

What I really like is how it helps generate CRUD database applications and takes care of the add/edit/view/import/export forms. It also has a strong PHP backend, which lets me extend it with custom code at every stage of working with a record. In later versions, there’s a solid JS API as well. Prior to purchasing PHPRunner Version 1, I spent a ton of money on apps that mostly did not work. When they did work, the screens produced were confusing and hard on the eyes. Support was non-existent. For 2+ decades, PHPRunner has provided an an excellent app. New features are often added. "Quality, Support, Price — Pick Two" is a common marketing mantra. Corel's WordPerfect easily creates complex forms like the HUD or any tax form. The only item on my wish list would be merging data from PHPRunner into a WordPerfect form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been a customer of PHPRunner for about 19 years.

What I like most is how quickly it can turn a database into a fully functional web application without requiring extensive hand-coding. For someone who works with databases, reporting, or internal business tools, it can save an enormous amount of development time.

Another major strength is the user community and blog/forum group. There is almost always someone willing to help when you run into questions. When it comes to more complicated coding additions, the admins and experienced users may not always provide a complete step-by-step solution, but they will point you in the right direction — what we often jokingly call “inspiration.” That guidance is usually enough to help solve the problem.

And if you still can't get something working, people are willing to help you work through it. In many cases, they not only help solve the issue but also help you become a better coder in the process.

I discovered PHPRunner around 2012, when I was looking for a faster way to build web applications based on MySQL databases using PHP.

I have been working with Linux servers and the LAMP stack for a long time, but at that time I did not have very advanced experience in developing complete web applications. What attracted me to PHPRunner was the fact that it can very quickly generate a functional application starting directly from the database structure.

In a few hours you can already have a complete application: data listings, CRUD forms, user authentication and role-based access control. For me, it was a very efficient way to build internal applications without having to manually write a lot of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use PHPRunner for web app development, and it really helps me generate apps for clients quickly and without errors. I love that it's possible to create fully functional, good-looking, professional applications without knowing coding. It's also extremely extensible and flexible for evolving complexity by allowing code injection at the right places, which is perfect for handling more nuanced use cases in later phases. I can't program in PHP but as someone who used to program, a long time ago, PHPRunner does everything for me and does it fast and it does it well.

The speed of developing, the ease of implementation and the consistant look and feel of a webapplication.

Unlike many other programming environments you can keep your focus on the functional logic of the application and not so much the technical workout of your app.

Additionally, personal support is also much appreciated. You are always supported when a problem might occur.

Once you get to know the products, there is no faster and easier environment to build a webapp. Either small or big, size does not matter at all.

For us personally, we use this framework a lot for integration with other environments.
