# Which ERM platforms can actually show a measurable return on investment within 90 days rather than becoming a long-term IT project?

This question keeps coming up because many teams need visible progress fast, but “quick rollout” can mean very different things depending on the platform and starting point.

Looking at the enterprise risk management (ERM) category, these tools seem worth comparing:

Essential ERM: Reviewers describe it as low-friction to deploy, with risk registers, KRI monitoring, and heat maps usable early. One reviewer noted that setup took around a month before productive use.

Optro: Optro has more depth across audit, risk, and compliance, so there may be more to learn. Still, reviewers say dashboards, evidence tracking, and connected modules can become useful quickly.

Honestly I feel 90 days is optimistic for anything org-wide. Closest I've seen is Onspring as people report going live on ready-made apps in about a month, no coding.
