Permit to Work Software (ePTW) Reviews & Product Details

Permit to Work Software (ePTW) is an enterprise digital Permit to Work and Control of Work platform by TECH EHS Solution, designed to help organizations plan, authorize, coordinate, execute, and monitor high-risk work across industrial operations, maintenance, shutdowns, construction, and commissioning activities. The platform brings together Permit to Work (PTW), JSA/JHA and task risk assessment, LOTO and energy isolation management, SIMOPS, work conflict management, and safe work execution within a connected digital environment. It helps organizations replace paper-based permits, disconnected risk assessments, manual isolation records, and fragmented communication with controlled digital workflows, real-time operational visibility, and complete traceability of work activities. Designed for complex and high-risk industrial operations, Permit to Work Software (ePTW) can be tailored to align with an organization's existing permit to work procedure, permit types, authorization hierarchy, risk matrices, checklists, certificates, isolation/LOTO practices, and approval workflows. Key capabilities include: 1) Permit to Work Management: Digitize the complete permit lifecycle from request, planning and worksite preparation through authorization, issue, revalidation, suspension, shift handover, completion, and closure, with support for multiple permit types and associated certificates. 2) JSA/JHA & Risk Management: Identify job steps, hazards, risk levels, and control measures using configurable risk matrices and structured JSA / JHA / HIRA and other task-based risk assessment methodologies. 3) LOTO & Isolation Management: Plan, apply, verify, and remove electrical, mechanical, process, and other energy isolations with equipment and isolation-point repositories, isolation tags, field verification, de-isolation, extended isolations, and supporting isolation workflows. 4) SIMOPS & Work Conflict Management: Improve coordination of simultaneous activities by identifying potential conflicts involving common work areas, equipment, energy sources, and isolation points, while providing visibility of ongoing work across the facility. 5) Safe Work Execution & Shift Management: Support worksite checks, gas testing, toolbox talks, competency verification, permit revalidation, shift handovers, and other controls required throughout work execution. 6) Operational Visibility & Control: Monitor requested, pending, approved, ongoing, suspended, and completed permits through dashboards, registers, KPIs, reports, audit trails, and permit audits. The platform supports web and mobile applications, approval workflows, role-based authorization, multilingual requirements, notifications and escalations, SSO, and integration with enterprise systems such as SAP Plant Maintenance or ERP platforms. Permit to Work Software (ePTW) is designed for asset-intensive and high-risk industries including oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, power and utilities, metals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, construction, shipyards, infrastructure, data centre and facility management.
