I also appreciate being able to see affiliates' historical revenue generated for other retailers. This feature allows me to selectively choose affiliates and appropriately set commission rates based on their performance. **What do you dislike about Pepperjam Ascend?** For some affiliates, the cost is too huge. The commission can be as high as 20% or 25%, which seems excessive. I think Pepperjam Ascend might consider different plans, like a flat rate fee for certain orders because for high-value items, the percentage-based commission is very expensive. **What problems is Pepperjam Ascend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pepperjam Ascend makes it easier to get affiliates and choose commission rates by showing historical revenue for affiliates, though some commission costs are too high. ### 2. At previous positions, I’ve been able to advocate the need for a multi-network affiliate program, whereas with Cris, his knowledge of not just client needs but partner best practices and expected experience really makes me feel at ease that he has the best interest for my program and our KPI’s. **What do you dislike about Pepperjam Ascend?** I unfortunately dislike how slow it can be to see a response from some publisher managers, but that has more to do with the publisher I believe. **Recommendations to others considering Pepperjam Ascend:** It's a great program when it makes sense for your business. Pepperjam's network is well-established and they represent a critical mass of merchants in the network, giving them influence to improve terms with publishers. **What do you dislike about Pepperjam Ascend?** It's not as much a dislike as an opportunity to improve. I think there should be more detailed analysis of the top performing publishers vs. how they perform for other merchants in the vertical. Indexing will identify where we can be proactive to enhance publisher partnerships. Also, Pepperjam has started to manage influencer CPA programs, but should really be a leader in this space. **What problems is Pepperjam Ascend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our marketing budgets have been extremely tight recently. Pepperjam has been proactive in finding ways for us to become even more efficient within our network. They were also instrumental in providing opportunities to cover paid search within their CPA model, which allowed us to continue to support that channel when its budget would have otherwise been cut. ### 5.
