We use the desktop version for calculating mileage and also integrate their web services via and API. ### 2. It gives accurate mileage calculations. It can be easily integrated with other TMS systems like Blue Yonder (JDA)TMS. **What do you dislike about PC*Miler?** It is difficult to customize. We have to use it as-is. It does not have real time information like road closure or traffic congestion for making routing decisions. **What problems is PC*Miler solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps in designing the optimal transportation network. It also helps in simulation by selecting different scenarios. It also takes the truck attributes like Full Truck load or Half Truck Load while making a decision. ### 3. I came into the trucking business and was now in charge of figuring out the miles and routes our trucks where using while out on dispatch. PC Miler makes it easy to route and even re route by placing the roads or cities in where you want. This works really well when you have a truck that has gone on a detour. **What do you dislike about PC*Miler?** I do wish that we could enter actual addresses. When you enter a state the truck may be 20 miles away from where the PC miler puts you in that state. It would be nice to be able to enter address to address. **Recommendations to others considering PC*Miler:** It is so easy to use. Running routes is so easy and making adjustments to routes is even easier. **What problems is PC*Miler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowing how many miles to the trucks are going over. It is very easy to setup and fairly easy to administer. On top of that the support with the product has been very helpful as well. **What do you dislike about PC*Miler?** No too many complaints. A few minor problems with the occasional out of license error or something like that but that has been resolved pretty quickly. We have usually found help files to get us through those issues. **What problems is PC*Miler solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to offer a solid product with solid support backing it up. We are able to keep our users using their software instead of always working on it. ### 8. We are able to accurately pull up mileage to anywhere. They are constantly updating and improving the software. Initially signed up for the wrong subscription and we ended up having to pay more than we budgeted for. **Recommendations to others considering PC*Miler:** This is the industry standard. Don't waste your time with HERE maps although it might be cheaper. **What problems is PC*Miler solving and how is that benefiting you?** It can integrate directly into our TMS providing us with visual maps and miles. The integration with LoadMaster. The ability for us to quote accurately and ensure we maximize our reveune **What do you dislike about PC*Miler?** When cutomers are on different versions than we are. It causes difficulty when applying cash. We will have under payments and over payments quite frequently which causes stress on our accounting teams. I have had to deal with this on a weekly basis to true up the two systems. **Recommendations to others considering PC*Miler:** Make sure you have the most recent update of the software. We really need to have all customers on the same version in order to reduce annoying over and under payments. **What problems is PC*Miler solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have an integrated mapping solution in our TMS which makes us faster and provides our team with visibility.
