## About PaySentinel
PaySentinel is a pre-payment fraud detection tool built for AP clerks, bookkeepers, office managers, and small business owners who need to verify invoices and vendor payments before authorizing a wire or ACH transfer, without enterprise-level setup or cost. Most payment fraud isn't caught by accounting software. It's caught by humans noticing something is off, or not caught at all until the money is gone. PaySentinel gives that human a structured second opinion in under a minute. Paste in a vendor name, invoice details, routing number, or the text of a suspicious email. PaySentinel checks it against known fraud signals, routing number validity, domain age and lookalike patterns, banking detail changes, BEC language, and your own prior payment history, and returns a risk score with specific flagged signals and recommended next steps. PaySentinel covers four check types: vendor verification before onboarding, invoice analysis before approval, email evaluation for suspected BEC or phishing, and transaction checks on routing and account numbers before a wire or ACH goes out. Every check returns a Low, Medium, High, or Critical risk score with the contributing factors listed. The free tier requires no account, no integration, and no IT involvement, 10 checks per week, results in under a minute. PaySentinel was built by a fraud analyst with direct experience investigating payment fraud, account takeovers, and business email compromise, not by a product team guessing at what AP clerks need.
