## Rollup Helper Reviews
  ### 1. Very Useful and Easy to Learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica K. | Salesforce Administrator, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

It is a very useful tool that is very easy to understand and learn.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

The UI is old/outdated. It could use a makeover!

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I sometimes need specific details about records that I need other objects to reference. Salesforce doesn't provide that ability in critical objects. Rollup Helper bridges that gap for us.

  ### 2. Rollup Helper Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Rollup Helper can help me to achieve something that Salesforce did not offer in their product out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

It consumes a lot of resources on Salesforce. The Apex Batch Jobs is always holding other jobs

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to roll the summary data from a child object to a parent object in Salesforce

  ### 3. Easy Rollups in Salesforce!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Some great things about the roll-up helper are its ease of installation and its ability to roll up summary non-related objects. I also like the easy navigation.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

Ideally, rolling up millions of records on all custom objects would be very useful when working with items that have many records.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Essentially saving us from custom coding solutions saves a lot of capital. Admins with little experience can use Rollup helper. The aggregation of Salesforce fields does not allow OTB functionality for reporting metrics has benefited the team.

  ### 4. Helpful Tool Makes Up For SFDC Inadequacies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Senior Sales Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

The biggest win for me and my team was always the ability to sum fields that SFDC couldn't do with it's native tech. Summing formulas, or other random field types was a major win that eliminates a huge frustration.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

Nothing with the tech itself, but sometimes it was hard to get in touch with customer service. You don't need them often, but when you do it can sometimes be difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Get it now and set it up as fast as you can.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just filling in holes where SFDC cannot sum fields. It's insane that SFDC hasn't bought this company or fixed its own solutions yet. It was a massively helpful addition to our reporting. We were an ad tech company that used a lot of formula fields to properly track our revenue, but if you wanted to sum these up, Salesforce does not currently have that ability. It seems borderline ridiculous that this isn't yet available out of the box from Salesforce, but Rollup Helper allows it with an incredibly easy set up. I've used it at my last 3 companies, and have set it up on my own in all instances. It's so simple that you don't need any help from anyone that is considered an expert or someone directly from the Rollup Helper team. I was able to easily roll it out on my own, and then quickly train up additional users so that they could become the next admin if I'm on vacation or if I move on to another job.

  ### 5. Can't Do Salesforce without it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

I love being able to rollup values from child objects that aren't accessible with standard Salesforce functionality (for example, Opportunities to the Account). Also, you can filter the rollup results (such as by role on tasks and events) and roll up values such as dates, names, contract value amounts, etc. NOT just min max or count that you're stuck with via standard Salesforce functionality. The support team is super helpful and fairly responsive considering we don't pay extra for support. Think about your Salesforce instance and you can probably think of at least 3 bits of data that you'd like to roll up to create a report that, for instance, outlines how many touches the Account owner has made on each of his/her Accounts; how many MDR Qualified opps actually close or what product lines ISN'T your client using - so sales can easily cross sell, and CS can easily support. That's what you get with the free version, and the paid version isn't nearly as expensive as you'd expect, it's actually quite cheap. It more than pays for itself with the reduced clicks and top-level summaries.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

Not a damned thing - frankly I can't do my Salesforce Admin job nearly as well as I do without the paid version of this product. It overcomes standard functionality issues and reduces clicks which optimizes my teams' time in app.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Seriously - 3 rollups are free. If you want to isolate activity by role or by owner or the like, it'll take 2 rollups. But that alone is worth it. Salesforce allows for min, max and count and returns a number. Those limitations are gone with the Rollup Helper - roll up names, dates, amounts, etc, and most importantly, filter the data that gets rolled up! We are finding new ways to use the Rollup Helper all the time, we have scheduled updates and real time updates and my end users are thrilled with being able to see those results so easily within Salesforce.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Here are some examples of rollups we've created:
- MDR Qualified with dates that roll up from the contact to the Opportunity
- Last MDR Activity dates that roll up from tasks and events to the Account
- Last Owner activity dates that roll up from tasks and events to the Account
- Total amount invoiced, and also paid, from our custom billing object to the Account
- Total number of active accounts from our custom SaaS object to the Account
- Which product families are actively being used from our custom SaaS object to the Account (so our sellers can focus on upselling the unused product lines)
- Original Seller at the Acct level based on oldest Opportunity
- Add to lead Score based on certain activity that isn't campaign-based
- How many Closed-Won Opps and what's the value of currently open opps at the Account level

And a ton more - like i said, 40 so far and growing.

So far it's allowed me to more simply automate email notifications and account owner changes, track MDR effectiveness (which helps isolate who needs training and who is a rockstar), create quick hit list views for sellers, update reports and related dashboards with accuracy, and pretty much help summarize information for every department that uses Salesforce - CSMs, Client Partnerships, Sales, MDRs, Accounting and Marketing.

  ### 6. Tool for rolling up child records

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aishwarya T. | Salesforce Lead Business Systems Analyst (Experience Cloud), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Tool helps to roll up field values of child records on the parent record. The tool offers conditional rollup to limit records using field conditions.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

Number of fields that can be used is a challenge.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Good tool offering real time conditional rollup.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rolling up child records with conditional rollup.

  ### 7. Make Roll-Ups with no effort

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio O. | Operations Officer - Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

It is very easy to build up roll up summary numbers

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

The interface can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

If the source object has a relationship with the target object, it should appear in the list.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes reporting very easy since you can pull info from one object to another.

  ### 8. Such an awesome enhancement for Salesforce Admins.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete B. | Salesforce Administrator & Business Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

The functionality is very robust and very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

The only thing I don't like is that it is a managed package which makes it difficult at times to understand errors and pinpoint events.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

If you have a need for getting info up to roll up from one object to another and need more functionality than standard Salesforce, look no further than Rollup Helper. It is a great tool to manage from the admin side and definitely enhances data accuracy when it comes to reporting. Being able to use the rollup outputs in formulas to determine the full potential in an Account is a powerful thing to have.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting information from child objects to roll up to their parents.

  ### 9. Clunky but useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Rollup helper adds an additional function that is otherwise difficult to obtain for creating summary fields in our SF environment. We create rollups from various objects that can sit on a hierarchy and we use them a lot in reporting.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

While the functionality is useful, the environment to create these rollups is really laggy and crashes a lot. If you accidentally click on the wrong button, you have to exit the environment completly and start over which is really time-consuming.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving an object relationship problem. In Salesforce, the different objects like accounts/contacts/events don't talk to each other very well and to pull them together in reporting is not clean and takes up much more room. Rollup Helper helps us to create formula fields so we can perform these across the board in a succinct manner.

  ### 10. Roll up any information in Salesforce!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rutik S. | Inside Sales cum Client Engagement, Professional Training & Coaching, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

I like the fact that any Salesforce data: count, sum, mix, max, average, percent, lookups, text, formulae etc. can be rolled up by Rollup helper. The data changes happen in real time, and this is the best feature of this software. Salesforce customizable effort is also reduced, thereby getting more time on hand for other important work.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

It’s a little expensive to begin with.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Actionable and real time data for business processes. The results can be used in workflow rules, validation rules or formula fields. Creating custom filters using dynamic filter criteria without SOQL knowledge is the best.

  ### 11. Rollup Helper improves my ability to summaries data in Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Senior Customer Operations Manager/Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Rollup Helpers helps me roll up information based on filters and get around the Salesforce limitations.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

The query ans setting up the parameters are a little challenging and takes some thought to get it right. Having some issues with realtime updates and dependent on nightly batch processes.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

If you run into issue with your apex code and can't fix any error's then realtime updates are reduced to nightly batch processes.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rollup helper is allowing me to do compile information on Accounts and Opportunities that give us better insight into the data trends.

  ### 12. Great functionality Salesforce doesn't provide out-of-the-box

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

I like rolling up objects where a master relationship does not exist.

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

I do not have any dislikes. The product does exactly what I expect of it.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Try the free version for PoC before purchasing a license.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly rollup active contracts to the account.
Tally the number of activities.
Adds additional data points to slice the data.

  ### 13. Very helpful tool! Get's you the information you need quickly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

They offer a free version of all their products with full-functionality. It gets you the information you need to see in the right spot with a few clicks!

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

I have not found much that I don't like about Rollup Helper!

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Try the free version first! Once you realize how easy it is to use and all the things you can do with it - you will want more!

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a multi-tier hierarchy within our CRM and pulling data from the child accounts and rolling them up a few levels is not natively available. With Rollup Helper, I am able to get all the information my reps need to see in one place. It provides better insight into the account in a quick glance. Additionally, you can rollup text, activities, etc. it does not have to be a numerical field!

  ### 14. This app is the best to work with rollup fields

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paola C. | Event and Data Management Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

It is so easy to use. We downloaded this app because we were having a hard time getting fields from salesforce to pull up that were not parent child related. This was a huge help. The first 2 or 3 fields are free

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

Really nothing to not like about this app. It really helps up get out of the bind we were in and it continues to help us in the same area.

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

maybe provide more free fields for non profits before charging

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

getting roll up to work when Salesforce doesn't. Great application and its great that we get a few fields for free before we have to purchase it,

  ### 15. Helper is quite good, but SALES FORCE needs to be done by professional

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Import and Export | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Rollup Helper?**

Process maybe added to anywhere and it is all connected in a chain and is sometimes too primitive to be good

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

In the SALES FORCE it is all quite complicated and few steps behind to other bespoke developed systems

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Do exact objectives and road map for your processes

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Add some functions into the SALESFORCE.
Benefit is to add whatever you want, but it is not too excellent

1.Ability to create rollups between records that have a look up/ hierarchial relationship.
2.Ease of use
3.Ability to check errors (Health Check)
4. Ability to schedule the roll up jobs and to execute the jobs real time

**What do you dislike about Rollup Helper?**

1.The rollups are executed in a batch mode which might lead to delay in execution.
2. The rollups execute their own trigger in parallel to the Apex tiggers which might lead to 'Unable to lock
    row errors' .

**Recommendations to others considering Rollup Helper:**

Very easy to use this product.

**What problems is Rollup Helper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We create rollups between records that have a look up/ hierarchial relationship.
