I find Parrot Security OS well-optimized for penetration testing and digital forensics. The pre-installed suite of tools from Metasploit to Aircrack-ng saves a lot of setup time. Its lightweight nature compared to other security-focused distributions allows me to deploy it on virtual machines without compromising performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After using Parrot Security OS daily in a corporate setup for two years, one thing I’ve noticed is that it sometimes feels like it’s built more for solo ethical hackers than for team-based enterprise environments. For example, collaboration tools or integration with enterprise SIEM platforms like Splunk or QRadar aren’t smooth out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
