Also, love the reports which include server times and network times in addition to overall metrics. **What do you dislike about Parasoft SOAtest?** Sometimes the .tst files doesn't update in the load test component even after saving in SOA test. **What problems is Parasoft SOAtest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Support is awesome. When a ticket is opned, customer support team will respond pretty fast to resolve the issue. ### 2. Some data from responses we needed to save so we use a Postgresql DB and the built in Repository, works great! This all was easy to build, in the beginning, we got great Parasoft support to get on the rails!! **What do you dislike about Parasoft SOAtest?** The manual can be better, looks like it's written by experts and have the feeling they miss some information and steps **Recommendations to others considering Parasoft SOAtest:** Getting started with Parasoft needs some time and support, but then it works like a charm **What problems is Parasoft SOAtest solving and how is that benefiting you?** We do qualification of software products, so SOATest need to be very reliable ### 3. With its tedt api generator plugin for chrome, it monitors activity in yourweb UI for testing. **What do you dislike about Parasoft SOAtest?** From automation point of view, it should have better clarity. It can be made more user friendly than what it is now. Need to enhance performance of the browser testing. **What problems is Parasoft SOAtest solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for API testing, tool is built-in such a way that anyone can start using it from there first day with little introduction. Features like diff tool to compare response and extension tool to call Java methods. **What do you dislike about Parasoft SOAtest?** Difficult to setup and execute MQ based webseries. When working with extention tool with Java code, it's difficult to debug the error. Everytime need to go back to eclipse ide and fix issue. **What problems is Parasoft SOAtest solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problem of scheduled test suite execution solved by continuous testing platform (CTP) integrated with SOAtest parasoft. Managing the traffic details in a file and save it in project test results folder is very easy. ### 5. Even if you are new to tool, its very easy to understand and work upon. **What do you dislike about Parasoft SOAtest?** For automation perspective, tool should become little bit more user friendly. They can add more UI level components. Also need option for agile environment in it. **What problems is Parasoft SOAtest solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have worked on solving API performance testing, API security testing, browser based end to end testing. No coding is required, we can build stable library for test and reuse it when needed. ### 6. SOATest is also really helpful in validating microservices and any data related implementations.
