## Pack Reviews
  ### 1. Boosted Site Speed and Conversion with Seamless Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnathan R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Our website has undergone a transformation since we began working with Pack Digital. They completely revamped our site speed, and we can now feel the increased conversion rate. Our users are undoubtedly having a much better experience. The process of starting work with them was seamless, and now we have top-notch support at every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier with the performance, and we would recommend them without reservations!

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

Pack Digital provides great benefits. Getting it set up correctly for our use, though, required some effort and involvement from our development team. This was not, however, entirely a DIY job. Some templates of the sections we needed had to be customized, so it was not entirely plug-and-play either.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had painstakingly put our Shopify store together and were underwhelmed with its performance—like, web 1.0, mid-2000s internet performance. We understood that we had built our site with limitations and that Shopify was not really "made for marketplaces." As we poked and prodded the site, trying to figure out what was wrong and how we might work around it to give our customers the experience we wanted, we encountered two main issues. One was that the site itself had no speed, and the other was that we had no freedom.

  ### 2. Power up your CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark W. | Head of Business Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

The Pack team was extremely helpful in getting us up and running. The UX is slick and fast. There’s a small learning curve, but once you’re in and creating sections and content, building a new page is incredibly easy.

Pack empowers UX designers and marketing teams to create beautiful landing pages without monopolizing development time.

From a development standpoint, you can customize and preview content blocks directly from your localhost—an uncommon feature in most tools. It’s been great to have this flexibility to configure and set up as needed.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

The audit log can sometimes be a bit hidden. You can view what “happened,” but it does take a few clicks to access. They are also working on implementing new user security features, which I’m excited to see in an enterprise-grade SaaS.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to ship pages / content faster

  ### 3. Best CMS/DXP for Shopify Hydrogen, bar none.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon I. | Co-founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Pack has a really intuitive developer experience for building new content, but also comes with an insane amount of really great defaults. It's incredible how quickly you can go from nothing to something awesome. We also love how easy it is to train people up on brand marketing teams to do their jobs easily. The user facing UI is clean and easy to understand, and the ability to put content anywhere you want really makes our clients happy with the end result. The team also is highly responsive to anything you need help with. They are rabidly loyal to their customers.

We use pack on every Hydrogen project we do.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

They have a few beta features, namely A/B testing, that require integration at the moment. I wish they were already in there right now!

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Straightforward content management for Hydrogen shops.

  ### 4. Best CMS I've ever used—even better than Sanity.io

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus P. | Senior Front-End Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

I have used about 5 different CMSs over the past 9+ years, and I'm convinced that Pack is the solution that we will use for years to come. It's a huge help when it comes to speeding up workflows. As a developer, I can edit things very quickly because it’s all built for Shopify, and works so well with Hydrogen. For people who aren’t technical, I know Pack is an even greater win because it's much easier to understand how and where to edit content—very similar to editing a Shopify theme. Overall, Pack is a huge win in terms of the editor experience and our efficiency as a team.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

No major concerns at this time, so far I've only had great experiences with the Pack.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pack is solving several key challenges:

1. Slow Development Workflows: Atoms' previous CMS, Sanity.io, required complex and time-consuming steps for basic tasks, slowing down development. Pack’s streamlined, Hydrogen-focused platform accelerated development by simplifying content management tasks and reducing complexity.

2. Difficulty for Marketers: Marketers struggled with a complex interface, relying on developers for even simple content updates. Pack’s intuitive, user-friendly editor is empowering marketers to manage content independently, speeding up their workflows.

3. High Costs: The reliance on developers for content updates and complex workflows led to higher costs. Pack reduces developer involvement, cutting costs and enabling faster time-to-market.

  ### 5. Pack's CMS is a GAME-CHANGER in the space

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison N. | Head of Digital Product & eCom Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Easy to use, integrates seamlessly into Shopify and Hydrogen, and constant builds of new useful functionality (segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling of content, etc).

The team at Pack is extremely knowledgeable and willing to step in and support along the way.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

As with any tool, there is a learning curve, but it is no different than using a Shopify theme. Also, not a con with Pack but with any headless build, extra budgeting needs to be allocated for the platform costs.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pack is able to solve a lot of our content needs. We are able to easily duplicate and build content on our site in an efficient and seamless way.

  ### 6. The fastest, most robust way to build Shopify Hydrogen storefronts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean L. | Director of Sales and Co-Founder, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Pack helps brands accelerate storefront development on Hydrogen.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

No complaints! The support team is awesome. It's a great product.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pack makes digital experience management a a breaze.

  ### 7. Best visual layer for Hydrogen and constantly improving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Pack?**

- Very quick to get up and running
- Allows our team to build a visual layer for hydrogen/react components
- Tightly coupled data with Shopify's API
- Thoughtful about their analytics implementation out of the box
- Third-party integrations have been significantly easier compared to other headless implementations
- Love the team behind the product. Great support, documentation, and a very quick product development cycle.
- Couples multiple technologies together that you'd otherwise have to purchase and manage separately

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

- We have yet to experience a downside
- I suppose for a brand, the downside is paying, but as mentioned, you are most likely going to end up saving money as it bundles a visual editor, product data management, content management, hosting, and more all in one.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pack enables us to use the most modern frameworks for a very high-volume merchant in a scaleable, repeatable, and user-friendly way for the merchant (and for our development team).

  ### 8. Powerful Headless CMS with an Excellent Support Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Allows you to build nearly anything you want without hyper specialized liquid knowledge on the dev side.
Once you have your sections set up how you want them, as easy to plug and play as Shopify but with more flexibility.
Pack Support is always available, very helpful and open to feedback when appropriate.
Scheduling and content environments gives a similar level of event control as Shopify.
Constantly releasing new features that are obviously informed by the feedback from clients.
Many changes can be built in-house quickly, without needing to pay a forever monthly fee on app extensions.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

With all of the flexibility, requires a lot of foresight in what you build and how you configure it. Requires strong communication between dev teams and the e-comm folks managing the site day to day.
Integrations can take a bit longer, and a decent amount of vendors that support Shopify store apps are not really options on the front-end given how Headless is configured. This is really a universal feature of Headless, but still present for Pack. (On the plus side, they are connecting directly with certain partners to build Pack-specific integration docs/processes).
Odd bugs here and there without clear documentation to make it obvious why. They have a Pack stack overflow, but by nature of being a smaller company it dosen't have a huge repetoire of information searchable online like with a Shopify native solution. This is alleviated by the responsiveness of the support team.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to build and release features and experiences specific to our business, outside the limitations of what Shopify has decided to make available immediately. This gives us the ability to scal eand shift to meet our unique business proposition with many product variants and differentiated marketing, so we are better able to stand out in a crowded D2C space.

  ### 9. Great and easy-to-use content customizer for Headless Shopify sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Pack?**

The site was launched within four months with a small team. Their content customizer allows easy customization without coding knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

Integrating third-party applications was not as straightforward as I expected, but their support team has been a valuable resource and had helped guiding the process.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining and launching a headless Shopify site can be a complex task that requires a large team of experts. However, with Pack, we launched our website in a few months and with a small team. The drag-and-drop customizer feature enables almost anyone to modify the content on the website, making it easy for team members to make changes.

  ### 10. Great balance of no-code maintainability coupled with full React customizability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Pack?**

Very easy for non-technical team members to utilize and maintain a headless storefront, while leveraging a React framework to allow developers to create reusable and modular components with content rails for non-technical team.

**What do you dislike about Pack?**

Still ultimately constrained by Shopify and their API on what is possible with Pack.

**What problems is Pack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Operating a headless storefront on Shopify to allow greater customization and speed of our DTC site
