Overleaf offers a wide range of professional templates designed by its users to choose from and most of them are ATS friendly which makes the whole process of resume building quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For a few issues in the latex code, Overleaf doesn't provide a proper error description to analyze. There have been times when it took a long time to find the error and fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overleaf is used to create documents using LaTeX. Here, I can create documents with so much ease. This platform provides different templates and makes using LaTeX very easy. It also manages our document history for easy access, and its interface is very user-friendly, allowing us to see the implementation right away in front of us. It's very good, but searching different sections is quite complicated and hard to use for accessing all the tools for a beginner. Also, there are too many templates; it must have some sorting options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overleaf makes Latex editing, which is pretty tricky, easy to learn and execute. I had to make a resume and a thesis using Latex and didn't have any experience in latex editing, but I didn't face many problems while doing so on Overleaf. Overleaf also shows a side-by-side comparison between your Latex code and the final product, which my case, was a pdf file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Overleaf provides a side-by-side comparison between your latex code and the final product, the change is not simultaneous; you have to save the content to see the difference in the final product, which is quite time-taking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is user friendly, and easy to use.

The quality of your work is decent using this app.

Overleaf features are great.

Great platform to save your work, and do not worry about losing it.

Sharing features are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not seen any significant dislikes in Overleaf.

The only thing they can consider for improvement:

You can share the document with limited number of people. You must purchase the premium version for sharing your paper with more than two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I absolutely love Overleaf. When I got to know that something like LaTeX existed, I was confused on how I could start programming and compile my code. Overleaf came to the rescue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Something that I dislike about overleaf is the lack of dark mode in the editor. I would really love it if they had a dark mode feature to code so that it does not hurt my eyes when I am doing something at night in the dark. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish I would have known about Overleaf a long time ago. I came to know about it during my college days when I was creating my first resume. I would like to highlight the following benefits of using Overleaf over any other PDF creator apps,

- It supports latex hence writing formulas become super easy.

- With a plethora of package support, you can represent your PDF pages in any way you want.

- The web UI is pretty straightforward, no background knowledge is needed when using it.

- The community has great support and FAQs answers. However, if you can't find your problem you can ask it on the forum.

- There are a whole lot of packages that can do basic things like heading, page numbering, indentation, line/word spacing, text font/colouring, etc with just an import of it.

- It also supports multiple people who can work on the same project by sharing them via email.

- One more way to share the project is that you can download the zip and the end-user can simply import it and use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can not think of any bad side or improvements for Overleaf. The developers have already made it very simple to use while keeping in mind that it is used by students and professionals both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overleaf is the most widely used online tool for creating Resume, and PDFs for thesis, projects, and assignments. It supports a variety of features like latex, themes, text colors, pagination, etc. To use any element, you must first import the module at the top of the document. The PDF files created via overleaf are very little in size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I dislike about overleaf is the price for using the premium feature. Also, no dedicated software is available, so it only supports the web UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The online feature of Overleaf allows multiple contributors in the same project to work on the project simultaneously. It also saves the progress automatically so that you will not lose anything even facing a power outage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free version of Overleaf has limitations about how many collaborators can join the same project and the number of projects that you can share with other collaborators. The paid version is a bit pricey if you consider the fact that there are many open-source LaTeX editors out there. The extra function is really the online saving option, which is kind of like Dropbox or Box, but the price is higher for Overleaf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-This is a web-based/cloud-based latex editor very useful for creating research articles efficiently and collaboratively.

-It supports almost all packages to create a quality document.

-We can see the result document by immediately compiling it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-We don't get useful suggestions often so need to do hit and trial frequently which leads waste of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the workspace and the formatting library. Plus the error-correcting menu is quite helpful. The commands and the interface are quite user-friendly and anyone can use them for documentation purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Though the error-correcting menu is very good a slight flaw in that is that it doesn't signify where the problem exactly is in the whole paragraph. So if you have an error in a large paragraph you have to re-read it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
