"Bridges SharePoint’s Intranet Gaps with a More User-Friendly Experience"

What do you like best about Origami Connect?

It bridges the gap between what SharePoint offers out of the box and what users typically expect from an intranet. Users still need the features available in SharePoint, but they often don’t accept the clunky interface and the limited selection of web parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Origami Connect?

It would be helpful if all the web parts shared a common color palette theme. You can make the web parts look the way you want, but you often end up duplicating the same color settings across different web parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Origami Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?

It offers many of the features users expect from a modern intranet that SharePoint doesn’t provide. It also integrates with Entra ID and Exchange-hosted calendars—capabilities that aren’t available in out-of-the-box SharePoint. "Seamlessly Extends SharePoint and Makes It Easier to Use"

What do you like best about Origami Connect?

It takes the functionality of SharePoint and extends it seamlessly. A lot of our users have no idea that Origami is a separate thing to SharePoint - they just think the Origami functions are the premium SharePoint functions. "Origami Elevated Our SharePoint Intranet with Templates, Integrations, and Support"

What do you like best about Origami Connect?

I really like the user experience Origami brings to elevate out of the box SharePoint. It integrates with our tools very well, like Entra ID for people and profile information, we also used Powerbi and Linkedin integration . We built our intranet in house with our own team and it was less expensive compared to hiring developers or designers to do the same thing. The built in Origami templates got us 70% there and the support we received from the team was really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Origami Connect?

We'd love to be able to use AI tools outside of Copilot but I understand that this is not possible due to security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great SharePoint Look and Feel, but Plug-In Downloads Are Tedious"

The manual installation process you mentioned is typically specific to larger enterprise environments where stricter security and deployment rules apply. That's just how SharePoint is designed. In most tenant-wide deployments, the setup is basically 3 click web installer, super fast.

Really glad to hear the end result helped make your SharePoint easier to navigate and gave it a more distinctive look and feel.
