The best part about Organimi is the ability to easily update an org chart after each hire. We were previously using Google Drawings, which required us to completely re-do our org-chart after each new hire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We haven't yet discovered anything we dislike about the platform. The one thing that would make the platform a bit easier to use is the ability to drag and drop people in a hierarchy. For instance, if I add three employees under another employee, it would be nice to be able to arrange the three employees in any order I chose. Organimi's product is very user friendly. I have especially liked the seamless integration with our G Suite account and various methods you can view the structure of your organization. I want more training videos. I believe this platform can be so much better! And I know it's changing quickly and adapting to the various use cases. Organimi is simple and straightforward. I like that I can easily add roles, delete roles, and move/drop functions where they are needed. It is easy to add departments, color code departments, and identify who is who. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found it difficult to arrange the tiles how I wanted. Additionally, this may be because I have the "personal" version, but it would be great if Organimi had a function (maybe it does) to add seniority dates so that all the individuals reporting to 1 manager were listed top to bottom based on seniority. The promise here is that of a synchronized view of our org that includes any data I wish to pull in from our AAD. Organimi includes the ability to pull in from Azure AD (and includes other options as a source as well) and this import of data works extremely well. I hunted for ages to find an add-on for org chart creation but didn't want a whole "HR Management" system. Everyone else seems to want to sell a huge (and expensive) system that overlaps what I already have available to me in Microsoft. I just needed to pull the data I already had in AAD and view it in an Org chart. It's shocking that Microsoft doesn't offer this as a built-in function to MS365. Their solution of "just use Visio" is pathetic, as anyone who's tried to create such a solution will know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The problem is in the details. First, currently my charts that are synced with AAD look great upon the first import, but any automatic update (which is really the whole point!) causes relationships to break and the chart to render wrong. Second, If you want to tweak any setting of an existing import, you have to reconfigure every setting like new. Forget to set it up just as you did before? Start over from scratch. Third, there is a button that sure looks like it is supposed to "zoom out to show full extent", but when I click it it just zooms to some preset level that does not encompass my whole chart. These feel like bugs, and I have reported them as such, but they're pretty inhibiting from really digging in and using the tool. I am keeping my subscription active for now, as even with these issues, the tool does a great job of showing the chart (I just have to create a one-off, non synchronized copy every time data changes). I am standing by for them to fix the issues that are preventing the auto updates to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
