I can easily see who’s in which departments/teams and where people are located. It also lets you set up individual charts for specific teams, limit access for users/managers while still sharing as needed, and it’s quick and easy to use for adding or deleting entries. You can link with LinkedIn to pull in profiles, details, and pictures, and the fields are customisable. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** It can feel a bit clunky when setting up the reporting “tree” (who reports to whom, dotted lines, etc.). That may be down to user error or a training need on my side. Also, like a lot of online tools these days, there isn’t always a person to speak to, so you end up being directed to online manuals instead. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having all the company information in one place makes it quick and easy to get a clear snapshot at a glance. It’s especially useful for onboarding and for shareholders, and it also makes it straightforward to pull up company details whenever they’re needed. It has a lot of options with visibility and layout. Pricing is good for what it provides. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** Organimi isn't immediately intuitive as a program. It took me a while to figure out how to "copy" and "paste" parts of the graph. I would love it if it was possible to actually just copy and paste right there in the program. That being said, it didn't take me terribly long to figure out and once I did things went smoothly for the most part! **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visualization of our organization is the greatest problem it's solving. When I add notes to a contact, they aren’t separated into paragraphs and instead show up as one big chunk of text, which makes them harder to read. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I couldn’t find a clear way to understand an organisation’s structure until I used Organimi to create a proper, easy-to-read view. A lot of other platforms didn’t enable me to do this in a way that represents the organisation’s structure as clearly as Organimi does. ### 4. I don't dislike much honestly **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had been using powerpoint for my org charts, and when you first make them it's fine, but adding people messes up the formatting and I had to start from scratch each time and it was time consuming and frustrating to get them to look how I wanted. If I had to choose something to improve upon it would be to improve the "go back" option. You can even get started for free if you don't mind having a watermark on the item up through 25 folks in the organization. Prior to using Organimi, I was making all of our org charts with PowerPoint. It was a nightmare and it took SO MUCH TIME! I spent most of my time formatting instead of really thinking about how to structure our teams. I also LOVE the Organimi support team. They are super responsive and always willing to help me if I hvae questions. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** I haven't really found a downside...and normally I have a million suggestions for improvement for the software I use. I guess the only thing I would love is if Organimi could integrate with our payroll system. But, to be honest, I haven't tried that. So maybe it does? I will have to look into that. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organimi has helped us solve two main problems: internal communication and a short-staffed HR team. With Organimi, we are finally able to post a comprehensive org chart that is easy to keep up-to-date and shows the real-time organization of our team. It's so user-friendly and quick to build or edit. If you can upload a file then it's very fast but even manually adding is simple to create. I like the feature of adding LinkedIn and auto-adding photos from LinkedIn profile pages. There are a lot of cool features, and also lots of options to integrate into systems we use, such as Microsoft 365 or Confluence. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** Perhaps adding LiveChat for quick support may be useful to add alongside email support would be useful. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to have an up-to-date organisational chart so that our teams can see the management and reporting lines, and having one which is clear, and personalised makes it a lot warmer and more engaging to view. We have used the photo addition, and LinkedIn addition to each person's profile to help bring it to life and encourage connection across other platforms we use. Org charts are highly customizable and auto-format to an attractive chart for presentation. We had previously been using Powerpoint, which was a formatting nightmare whenever there was a staff change. This was an affordable way to make our charts much more efficient and presentation-ready. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** Some minor technical issues. On some PDF exports, the LinkedIn links don't always format. A nice feature to add would be website links working in PDF exports. Linked charts are a great feature, but only work in the Organimi web app, not in the embedded options for company intranets. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were previously managing org charts in Powerpoint which was a formatting nightmare. The system is very user-friendly and was easy to get started. It cut our org chart time in half and we update regularly for investor presentations. ### 28. The added benefit of this simplicity is the different views one is able to access. These different views will add much value to the various departments within the organisation as the use-case demands. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** Difficult to say what I dislike at this point as I am new to the software. For example, an org chart can be created from an employee upload file and saved as a template. The file sync will update the employee data while retaining the formatting and pagination. Various sync methods are available. For example, we schedule a daily CSV file to an sFTP server. There was an initial issue with the formatting retention, but it has since been corrected. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** It cannot currently accommodate a dynamic header on each page. There is an option for a static header where the company logo may be inserted, but it does not allow each org chart page to contain the appropriate department name or description. I submitted this as an enhancement request and am told it is on the list. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organimi is solving the issue of manually updating org charts based on constantly changing employee data.
