Less requirement of data warehouse architect **What do you dislike about Oracle Warehouse Builder?** There is no such downsides of using this tool but more resources should be available to explore this product. Like for Oracle ODI we have N numbers of resources available to explore and design solution according to our need but we haven't find any such relevant document wehich can provide us that knowledge. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Warehouse Builder:** I'll recommend this product as it is more user friendly compared to other products and also this solution doesn't require vast knowledge of tool. It is user friendly and can be very helpful for beginners as well to learn something new. **What problems is Oracle Warehouse Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently we are using multiple tools to design Data warehouse, to integrate multiple sources and to provide data marts to other stakeholders. through this tool we are able to design data warehouse, to integrate and develop an end to end solution having pl sql code, ETL and SQL through one module. ### 2. OWB GUI is not very elastic hence there are scenarios when the MDL gets corrupted during developer interaction with owb mapping and thus it cannot be recreated back from plsql. You can argue to keep the OWB mappings in source control and pull it back when required. But trust me as i know certain projects which have not been able to maintain the source control and in absence of MDL they cannot even rely on the deployed plsql package in production. Result is they translate back from owb to hand written plsql. Also Oracle only database makes the use case very limited. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Warehouse Builder:** We are already migrating from OWB to ODI as Owb shall be soon outvof support. **What problems is Oracle Warehouse Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have migrated from OWB to ODI.
