# What are the highest rated co-browsing platforms for financial institutions that need to reduce support costs while maintaining strict customer privacy standards?

Hi G2, I'm building a shortlist for a financial institution client who has a hard customer privacy requirement and a tight budget, and the question that keeps being harder to answer than expected is which are the highest rated co-browsing platforms for financial institutions reducing support costs while maintaining strict customer privacy standards. Worth looking at review volume alongside the rating itself here, since a few products with strong scores have thin data sets behind them.

Glia (4.8 stars, 87 reviews): Handles co-browsing, chat, phone, and AI in a single platform built for financial institutions, with the efficiency gain coming from not routing between disconnected tools rather than from staff reduction alone.

Surfly (4.8 stars, 100 reviews): Field masking and privacy compliance are core to the product architecture, with faster issue resolution being the primary driver of support cost reduction rather than headcount changes.

Zoho Assist (4.7 stars, 712 reviews): Session recording and reporting create a per-interaction audit trail, with pricing that sits significantly below comparable tools for teams that don't need a full contact center platform.

Upscope (4.7 stars, 119 reviews): Purpose-built for financial services and insurance co-browsing use cases, with privacy controls handling sensitive data visibility without requiring separate configuration work.

TeamViewer (4.5 stars, 4,045 reviews): Stable, secure session management at enterprise scale, with the review volume behind this rating reflecting deployment across institutions of meaningfully different sizes.

Which of these has your institution actually deployed for live customer support rather than just evaluated? And was the privacy compliance sign-off straightforward or did it take significant back-and-forth with the vendor?

Cost reduction here rarely comes from fewer agents. It comes from shorter calls and fewer escalations. Tools that reduce back-and-forth tend to have more impact than ones adding features. Did you see any indication that co-browsing reduced repeat contacts or just improved the first-call experience?
