  ### 5. Oracle Agile review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile is a easy to configure to make it fit your companies needs. The electronic signature capability is one of the reasons we made the decision to purchase the software.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

When needing a bug fix or enhancement it takes way to long to get something in your hands.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a need for a tool that had revision control and records what changes took place between each revision. This allows us to be compliant and always know what the current revision is for procedures and designs.

  ### 7. Agile is a good product lifecycle management (PLM) software tool/database. Would recommend.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile is a good product lifecycle management (PLM) software tool/database. Orable Agile PLS is overall and for the most part, easy to use, has the ability to be customized and is able to provide visibility into the data that was entered into the database. This tool allows cross-functional teams to work on the same task at the same time, which is great when working remotely and/or working on an all remote team. Overall, this tool helped to accelerate product review, approval, and ultimately launch of new materials, therefore maximizing profitability and enhance product features and design as needed. The database is easy to use, and does not require much training to someone who is technical savvy with other similar database, and/or have used them in the past.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile Oracle PLM doesn’t come without its faults and areas for improvement. This tool tends to lack some of the basics that most databases with related applications have. Data entry rules are lacking, and currently with Oracle Agile PLM, it does not apply any rule when it comes to the actual data entry being entered into the database. Perhaps creating rules for use when entering data would be helpful in the future? This tool was easy to use to the average use, who had used similar tools of this nature in the past… however, if new, and a new user all around, some basic training would be highly recommended, as there is a learning curve, as can be expected This would be recommended.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Recommend that you review the pros and cons of this tool, and see for yourself how many more pros there are to using this tool! You will be pleasantly surprised if you chose to try Agile PLM for your business needs.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of the benefits realized with the use of Oracle Agile has been the ability to accelerate product reviews, product approvals, and ultimately faster launches of new materials, therefore maximizing overall profitability and having the ability to enhance product features and design as needed.

  ### 8. Agile is ok

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile enables me to access IFUs for the products I work on, shows BOMs and all components used, and also SOPs can be found here.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile is difficult to use. It took me about 3 months to feel able to find things. I don't like how the usable portion always appears as a pop out. Items in the BOMs are not searchable.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

If you don't have much choice, use Agile, but it needs a lot of improvement.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is just not easy to use. It is difficult to find documents unless you already know the document number. It is very difficult to find things based on keywords.

  ### 9. Agile

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

You can define processes and workflows with notifications and privileges.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Searching for documents is not the easiest to navigate. I have also had very finicky experience retrieving documents through java. Avoided that completely.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing document change controls.

  ### 10. Unreliable

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I didn't find much that was "best". Things with Oracle are never reliable and things crash all of the time.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I am not a fan that it never works properly. It crashes almost daily and you can't complete the work that you need to on a daily basis.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing saves, you can't send emails without an error message. There is always an application issue. There is never help when you need it. There are always problems.

  ### 11. Quirky but useful

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2017

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The way the program is modular and can be used for a variety of different occurrences such as engineering change tracking, part drawing management, and supplier/manufacturer information gathering is beyond useful.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The fact that Oracle knows about some minor issues and has no intention of fixing them. Such as the "open" button works approximately a third of the time, while the "get" button will only work if an entire section is selected and not just the aspect you want to open/get.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of access for quality system management: engineering change processes, quality documents, part drawings, manufacturer information, etc.

  ### 12. Integrates well with Oracle ERP

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

It was a flawless integration for our company to merge Oracle ERP with Oracle Agile. It was great to see that we could have one system that worked together.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Oracle Agile is not as intuitive as other similar products I have used in the past. Catsweb was more user friendly, but it did not integrate with Oracle ERP system easily. If it wasn't for that, we would have stayed with Catsweb and not done all the work to switch to Oracle Agile.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Make sure your ERP system is set up well

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ran our document control system through this and it has proven to be very beneficial for a medical device company.

  ### 13. Oracle or not?

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I like the ease of use and the user friendly experience.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Can be a little bit pricey. But it is worth it.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to work with my team from all over and not have to worry if the job is getting done.

  ### 14. Robust QA tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Extremely robust tool, tracks updates and allows for multiple users as reviewers and observers.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Clunky search functions. Allows for advanced searching, but the complicated nature of the search makes it slightly less user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Agile allows for extensive document tracking. Very solid platform to manage your product management and QA systems.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document and SKU management. Organizing updates across multiple sites.

  ### 15. Good Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2017

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Oracle Agile PLM is fairly straightforward and easy to use once you get used to it.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile's UI was a bit difficult to use initially. It could use a better design.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Agile PLM is a good product. I use Agile regularly to look up information about my company's products.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I regularly use Agile to look up information about our own products. Agile provides all the information I need to complete reports.

  ### 16. Worked with Oracle Agile for 7 years as an administrator

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

User definable capabilities and wrokflow

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Cant think of anything significant, dislikes were with implementation not system capabilities

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process driven life cycle management, Closed loop processes

  ### 17. I have been working with Agile a few years now. It is a good PLM tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry S. | Senior Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

It comes integrated with Oracle EBS. You don't need to write custom interfaces. The built in workflows meet most of the client needs but allow small customizations if needed. It can work in and engineer to order and configure to order situation.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The forms can be a bit hard to understand for some clients. The tool is could stand to be more like the form an EBS user would encounter. The vertical solution do not always match the need.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to give clients a way to process new item BOM configurations. They are now able to process them through the corporate workflow.

  ### 18. Good PLM software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian H. | Product Engineer 2 - New Product Introductions, High-Speed Optical Modems, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

All the features you would expect from solid PLM software

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Interface is not the prettiest, somewhat slow but this is probably a function of the size of the database and the hardware it is running on.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Good software for PLM. Oracle is all things to all people so it works well within the rest of the Oracle framework.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for tracking hardware and documentation changes to for products.

  ### 19. Oracle Agile

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anish D. | Business Analyst, Management Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Oracle agile is a good product life cycle management tool which provides a smart integrated framework that helps cross functional teams to collectively work on co-related tasks, data and systems for which there is only single source of information present.
One of its most helpful feature is data synchronisation with external and internal data pools and integrated product life cycle to collect useful data and retrieve anytime when needed.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

It is installation is not very user friendly. It is tough to understand by new untrained users and company needs to provide training and sessions before starting on it. Also, it should provide more third party integration facilities.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

This is good product life cycle management tool for agile processes and can be very helpful in keeping track of tasks, documents, shared secured documents, etc. in agile environment and managing things wsekk.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work on agile environment and this tool proves helpful in many ways to us. To keep track of daily productivity, completed and assigned tasks, same platform to work and share/ store information has also became easier and less time taking activity.

  ### 20. Oracle Agile

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaifali G. | Quality Assurance Associate, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

It provides great prduct life cycle management tool at a cheaper cost than other tools provided in market. While the tool is fully configurable it is easy to use and manage it as per project requirements. It provides clear picture of project with visually pleasant Dashboard enhanced visibility facility.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Each time user need ti configure it. One time configuration done cannot be moved or copied or applied on other project. Everytime it takes default template.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

In Agile environment, to make it easy to track all sort of information, requirement changes, resource information or project status, this tool is good to keep things on one place.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing project task to person working mapping for current state of project with all sort of data- the backlogs, stories, sprints, subtasks, bugs, etc.
It provides clear picture for all work done with resource mapping and helps mitigating any project risks.

  ### 21. Great Product, User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I think the UI is exceptionally simple and easy to use and most of our clients like the tool and the product. It is easy to use so makes the transition from legacy PLM systems to Agile easy. Easy to link with HPQC so testing becomes very easy and tracking of test cases and scenarios can be done efficiently. Setting up data is extremely easy, lot of sample is available or you can easily import data sets

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Based on the industry/client there is a certain degree of customization that needs to be a part of any deployment, some features are tricky to customize in Agile. Some navigation options are hard to follow for the users and do not make sense logically.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Map out the key features, capabilities that are must haves for you and your clients. Try to see if you have other IT systems in play and which PLM tool best interacts with them and lay out a roadmap that helps you visualize the best PLM tool that minimizes ongoing IT support costs for you and the team. Agile in my experience wins 9 times out of 10 where you have an existing ERP system in place already.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining business processes and implementing a new PLM system was the problem that we were trying to solve. The resistance from user is minimal because of the ease of use. System adoption is easy and high. Clients have usually gone down from 3 to 5 disparate systems to one consolidated PLM tool with all sorts of planning capabilities.

  ### 22. Powerful, but difficult to implement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Customizeable workflows allow us to target the work needed to release documents into Agile. It's also a one-stop gateway between Engineering and Manufacturing... we no longer have to manually transition files between 2 different systems.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Very difficult to customize searches, UI layouts per user, or really anything besides the workflows. We've been trying, unsuccessfully so far, to implement a macro that will read a custom Excel spreadsheet, turn it into the format Agile wants, and automatically then populate the data fields.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Consider other PLM software solutions first. If you land on Agile, invest in the time up-front to figure out what all you can customize and do it early in your implementation.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our entire company's PLM software solution. The benefit is that Engineering and Manufacturing at least now use the same system.

  ### 23. Oracle Agile Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The Oracle Agile is complete solution to product life cycle management tool.
With the help of Oracle agile I can assign task to my team members and track the daily activities of each releases.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The installation process is little bit complicated for novice user's . also support to various third party integration is required.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Yes. If your company is heading towards agile practices then Oracle Agile is complete PLM for your company

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it to keep track of all kinds of work like functional task, financial planning, including report for specific products, inserts, brochures, and etc. You're able to track all the version of the product.

  ### 24. Easily manage lifecycle of any process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atul Y. | Senior Instrumentation Engineer, Civil Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Easy workflow methodology to create and manage life-cycle of any process. Good tool for engineering and production environment. can easily transition between design, testing and production modes. I use Agile for my engineering processes and it helps me a lot in keeping track of all steps.
Customization to your requirement is great and very user friendly. And is very flexible to accommodate any changes.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Integration between apps is limited. This can be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Must have clear understanding of your own processes and workflows before you start using this application.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Track and monitor engineering processes, flows procedures.
Check historical implementations and impacts.
Monitor change control.

  ### 25. Arduous and complicated

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The ability to quickly tend and present data.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The user interface is abysmal. It is not at all intuitive and hence very difficult to learn. From a QA perspective, processes such as CAPA have become extremely complicated to the point where more time is spent trying to use Agile than solving the initial problem. Essential elements are too far hidden beneath multiple layers of unnecessary steps and information making what should be simple tasks and processes very clunky, convoluted and time consuming. The is also little in the way of error proofing. Given the complexity of Agile, mistakes are often made by users many of which could be prevented with a bit of error proofing.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

If you are looking to simplify QA tasks or keep them simple then avoid Agile. Whilst it may offer greater visibility there may be a significant price to pay in terms of the benefits it will give over existing systems and the desire of people to use it. Be prepared for a painful implementation. The lack of intuitiveness means extensive training is required for all users.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whilst there may be a slight advantage in gathering and trending QA related data this has been significantly outweighed by the disadvantages of additional time and costs of using Agile and the willingness of staff to use it. Our quality management system has been negatively affected as a result of Agile. Staff no longer voluntarily raise quality concerns as they find Agile too daunting and time consuming.

  ### 26. From a user viewpoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant L. | Senior Specialist Customer Support, Semiconductors, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The app is fairly simple and easy to navigate but does need a bit of learning to master it as a daily user.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

One of the issue is the application is a resource hog and makes my PC a bit slower.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Other than the resource hog I would rather have a more web friendly like SFDC.

  ### 27. Best in industry

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Query setup, error log and reporting of query

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The index key usage which conflicts with query code

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing accounts and transactions. Reporting and monitoring benefits.

  ### 28. Excellent PLM software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

This tool helps innovate with broad applications allowing for efficient centralization of product data.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Similar to other Oracle products, licensing can be expensive and cost inhibitive if not done to scale.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing product data, streamlining cross functional processes and launching products successfully.

  ### 29. Difficult to Learn to Use

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clarrisa L. | Marketing Coordinator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I didn't use this product on a daily basis, but it did seem to be able to store incredible amounts of information, that can be layered and tiered and differentiated in multiple ways.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Because I was not the main user in the Company, I received very little training on how to use it, not to mention the training I did receive was confusing and frustrating. Not a user friendly program at all, extensive training would be needed by someone from Oracle I think, to really get a handle on how to use it effectively.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Consider all the people in your Company that will need to use this and really consider providing ample training on how to use it or you may not necessarily be utilizing the full range of benefits it can provide to you and your business. I really think if I'd had more extensive training, or even if it were available for me to do individually, or on my own, I could have been much more proficient with it.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it to keep track of all kinds of inventory, including artwork for specific products, inserts, brochures, and etc. You're able to store the info on multiple versions of one item, and locations and/or archive old versions.

  ### 30. It is good software for software life cycle management

  ### 31. Oracle Agile Analyst Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The Oracle Agile application is very straight forward from a user perspective and is highly configurable. I've worked in other PLM tools and definitely like the ease of use with Oracle Agile.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Due to it's fairly straight forward work flows, there isn't a lot of flexibility to add extra measures for gathering change approvals.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Overall very flexible tool that can meet almost all business needs in a large highly regulated industry.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my organization we're trying to move to a single PLM instance globallly. Oracle Agile will most likely be the tool we utilitze going forward with our long-term vision.

  ### 32. Engineers love it others not so much

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2016

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Easy to install, configure and manage. Simple migrations between prod, stage, test and train.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Cannot use 3 character users names. If a user get's an AD account with three characters and later needs agile need to redo their AD account.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Does what is expected but pricey.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Version tracking, product deveompent lifecycle. Part and supplier tracking.

  ### 33. agile does not live up to its name.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Automated emailing of change notifications to team members.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Maybe it is the way our company has implemented Agile, but there are too many little tricks one needs to know to be able to navigate and submit changes. Not very intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

It would appear to require some good work at implementation in order to reap benefits later. My company is famous for taking shortcuts and causing themselves more work later, pushing more work onto non-IT team members than is probably wise.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manufacturing process documentation and physical drawings/parts.

  ### 34. Oracle Agile Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

All and history in one place. Search function is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Requires Java to access/download documents. Java is too unstable and there are to many updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

No recommendations

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated above - Policies, pertinent documentation all accessed in one repository.

  ### 35. Agile is functional for our team in maintaining Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Easy interface and clear methodology to sort, run and save PLM data for our maintenance

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Gets overloaded several times due to which there are issues related to how the PLM should be done. The interface is heavily dependent on browser functionality.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am maintaining challenging position to file and maintain the PLM documentation for our team and this helps us get an idea about how the data can be maintained.

  ### 36. Agile PLM is an essential tool for any company looking to improve product related processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd S. | Application Sales Executive, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile is highly configurable and even has the ability to integrate into any enterprise system. It has improved our team collaboration and provided the visibility for the entire organization of the status of projects. Simple notification and alerts ensure everyone is on task and on time. Lastly it provides the record history of every transaction of every person for easy recall and faster audit reporting.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

No integrated, built in module or system to capture training. Similar to a LMS system.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

If you are a growing company implementing Agile will help you control your existing data and properly set-up your company for future growth. It allows the structure for companies to innovate easier and expand as needed.
Agile also has a suite of modules that cover specific areas such as quality, costing, program management, regulatory and compliance and analytics.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved process improvement resulting in faster cycle times and shorter builds.
Ability to integrate customer complaints in Agile which now are actually effect how manufacturing is building the products.
Agile has created a centralized repository for all product data. Previously we had documents stored in Engineering, some in our corporate share folder, Quality had some. It was everywhere and difficult to locate. Now all the appropriate documentation is stored in Agile all associated with the correct part number.

  ### 37. Oracle Agile: Easy to Use, Easy to Configure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irene H. | Senior Manager Document Control, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Ease of use on Oracle's Agile product lifecycle management system its best feature. Users do't require training, they use the tool like a google search and find what they need.

Another great thing about Agile how it handles revision control. It allows BOMs and attachments to be archived by revision which allows us to keep a history that is easily accessible.

The manufacturer association to the part master is the best I've seen, We like being just one click away from the manufacturer screen on the part that shows the manufacturer name, part number and environmental status.

We also like the way that all actions are recorded on the history tab, so object changes can be traced.

Also, with some very little training super-users can configure the system. Of course, you need IT for mappings, but many of the tasks can be done by the users.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

As a non-relational data base, Agile doesn't apply any logic to the data entry. There is no "if then" population possibilities. I do think that should be possible, even without a fully relational database.

Agile reports are useful, but could be improved upon. In particular is the revision comparison report. The results are difficult to interpret. Another report is the Where Used reports, which only work to the top level, even though other report options are available for selection, they just don't work (non-responsive).

The Product & Governance module in Agile needs to be improved to allow multiple specifications to be applied without make the Overall compliance "non-compliant".

Another challenge with the tool is the difference between the client application and the web application. While Agile has made great strides over the years there is a disparity in performance and functionality between the apps.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

It is a great system for the money. Try to use it out of the box as much as possible. While add-ons and customizations are tempting, they make upgrades difficult.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve the following with Agile product lifecycle management:

- Revision Control
- Archival of attachments
- Routing for approvals
- Historical tracking (accountability)

  ### 38. i had experience with this PLM around 4 yrs

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

complete PLM cycle and agile implement, user friendly and quickly learn and good for Manufacturing engineering

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

data replacement activity within database

good for manufacturing industry, and easily link with all cad software.

  ### 39. Excellent experience with Agile PLM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I appreciate the incredible flexibility in Agile PLM. The base software is extremely good and you can configure the software based on your business adding your own classes, workflows, roles, etc. It is a very robust solution for document control, change order control, costing, engineering and compliance.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

I think some companies would say the cost is too high, but I believe you get what you pay for and for a enterprise, global, fully configurable system I think Agile PLM pays for itself over time.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

Get your requirements down on paper before you purchase or even look at PLM solutions. There are a lot of solutions out there now and while Agile PLM is a terrific solution, it may not be the right one for you. Only your business process, users and managers can define the right solution once you know your complete requirements.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In past consulting positions we have configured the system for maximum, efficient data collection and complicated workflows based on product lines. We have benefited from having proper change control where no new training docs get out to the floor without proper approval and access, faster change revision due to automated workflows, better collaboration from complete data with attachments available all in one place.

  ### 40. Positive experience with Agile.

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Agile is a comprehensive tool for managing the part life cycle. The interface is easy to use and web based. The tool is very configurable to meet out needs.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

Because of the granularity of control, it is often complicated to change things like permissions.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):**

If you need a full fledged PLM system, it is hard to beat Agile.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a single source of truth for all the engineering data in our company. Before Agile, our data was stored in many different places.

  ### 41. Exceptional Configuration Capabilities - UX issue

**What do you like best about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

It is highly configurable and has a sound backbone for custom requirements related to process and security.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)?**

The User Interface is a bit neglected part and most of the users need better user experience and lesser click for repetitive tasks.

**What problems is Oracle Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly related to high-tech manufacturing and the highly configurable model makes it beneficial for a number of domains.

  ### 42. PLM Review
