**Reviewed by:** Sourav D. | Associate Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

It's best low code integration tool and easy to learn. What I love about Oracle Integration Cloud is how easy it makes connecting different apps with its prebuilt adapters—saves a ton of time! The monitoring and error-handling tools are super handy for keeping things running smoothly. Plus, it’s flexible enough to handle both cloud and on-prem integrations without a headache.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

I’ve had a great experience with OIC overall and don’t have any major complaints. That said, I’ve found it a bit limiting when it comes to handling complex code validations and advanced logic building. Oracle has made great improvements, like adding parallel processing in OIC Gen 3, and I’d love to see them keep pushing for even more flexibility for developers.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating with Oracle native softwares (both cloud and on premises) as well as 3rd party softwares become effotless now with OIC prebuild adapters and no code approach. The ease of development , and deployment is saving lot of time and manual efforts for developers and the company using it.

  ### 13. Oracle Integration Cloud - integrate data from 3rd party sources directly into your Oracle ecosystem

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank P. | C, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

What is most helpful with Oracle Integration Cloud is the ability to connect to various data sources using an API to integrate data, conduct light ETL on the data, and then create a source to target mapping to bring your data into any relational database within the Oracle ecosystem and schedule your integration to run at a pre-determined cadence.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

What is least helpful about Oracle Integration Cloud is, without understanding java or heavy code, the way to conduct source to target mapping when integrating data is a very manual drag and drop method, which is very tedious depending on the data source and how many columns you have to map from source to target.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving problems related to integrating third-party data sources into a relational Oracle SQL database and automating the schedule of importing and moving data. The benefits are near real-time data streaming from third-party data sources and light-weight ETL on the source data to staging the data in a way that is conducive to reporting needs.

  ### 14. Why you should use Oracle Integration Cloud for all your APIs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

Best thing about Oracle Integration Cloud is, you can route all you inbound and outbound internal or 3rd party vendors API securely through it.
It also benefits in providing high security to the data transfer.
Another most important thing is, if your end system has IP restrictions, then this is best as you won't need to whitelist all vendor IPs.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

As of now we haven't found any issues with this platform, only thing is if logs are too much, it looses them after sometime.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

if your end system has IP restrictions, then this is best as you won't need to whitelist all vendor IPs.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better handling of internal and external API through Oracle Integration Cloud

  ### 15. Oracle Integration- OICS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

Previously we were using so many third-party integration tools and technologies to integrate Oracle Fusion Application along with Oracle's ADF. I worked on Oracle ADF and OIC but I would recommend to the Organizations and the people who are looking for an Integration, don't think, just got for OICS.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

Whenever we needed some new information from Oracle at that time we have to spent more time with some difficulties so I would suggest to Oracle just keep us updating with the latest updates on time so that all the Organizations will check and go for that appropriate needed solution/technology.

To suggest to Oracle I am not that much of experience as Oracle is. But based on my little experience I would recommend.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

Previously we were using so many third-party integration tools and technologies to integrate Oracle Fusion Application along with Oracle's ADF. I worked on Oracle ADF and OIC but I would recommend to the Organizations and the people who are looking for an Integration, don't think just got for OICS.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Based on past experiences, Oracle Integration will be easier when we use OIC or AWS other than third-party tools and technologies.

  ### 16. Oracle ICS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

The prebuilt adapters are very helpful to design integrations. You don't need to know coding or programming language to use Integration Cloud. It's mostly drag and drop with minimal coding.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

We encountered issues with on-premise Agent very often. However, in the new version, the Agent is very lightweight. Hopefully, the issues are resolved with the new Agent.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

We are currently using ICS and I think the product is headed in the right direction. I have looked at the demo of the OIC and it has some really great features. My only suggestion is that the product upgrades have been very aggressive and it's hard for the companies to keep upgrading the product. It would be nice to add features to the existing product rather than coming up with a new tool.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are primarily using Oracle Integration Cloud to connect On-premise applications like E-Business Suite to Salesforce and other cloud applications.

  ### 17. Game Changer - Oracle Integration Cloud

Simplicity, this product is easily to implement. You can have a integration up and ready in days. Giving you full monitoring, tracking and ability to resubmit errors, all from for 1 easy web page. Another great feature is the error notifications, if there is an error, you will receive an error notification where you can click the hyperlink for more information.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

To be honest at the moment , we have not found any really big drawbacks. For us it just works.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

100%, it is very easy to use, try it out

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Oracle Integration Cloud to integrate a SAAS application to our data warehouse. This has allowed us to get insights on our customers by using OIC to extract data using API's. These insights have allowed us to generate targeted campaigns.

  ### 18. OIC - Oracle Integration Cloud

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

OIC has prebuild adapters to connect to other third party applications whether its on premise or cloud applications. It is easy to use and drag drop functionality. Scope is very vast.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

User interface does not response faster with bulk data. This can be improved. Oracle support needs to improve response time.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

I think product is really god for people who are not from integration background because its drag and drop , does not require much in terms of technical coding.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it to integrate on premise legacy application to cloud application system.

  ### 19. Oracle: When although the application is so comprehensive that it is not easy to manage it

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yohan A. | CSM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

The stability that Oracle delivers with its cloud-based products is unbeatable; we can expect to have 99% uptime where downtimes are practically nonexistent. This is one of the main advantages of ICS and the backing of such a large company behind this great product.

Another main advantage is the compatibility with all Oracle products, which are numerous and widely used in many industries. Having connectors that are ready for many applications, not only from Oracle but also from other brands, is a great advantage and allows us to deploy low and medium complexity integrations in a matter of hours just by reading the product documentation.

In conclusion, having Oracle's backing allows us to know that we have an extremely robust and powerful product, as well as compatibility with a very complete ecosystem of applications.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

The fact that it is such a comprehensive tool with many "aces" up its sleeve can pose a great challenge for teams that intend to develop projects on ICS and do not have extensive experience as well as highly technical knowledge. In other words, the knowledge to make the most of the platform cannot be acquired on the fly, and the learning curve will be quite steep if we intend to develop highly complex solutions. We are talking about the Ferrari of cloud integration applications, but if we do not know how to handle it correctly, we could end up in a serious accident.

The support and documentation from Oracle can pose a problem if one is not sufficiently trained to handle the tool. My experience has shown me that the platform's support team assumes or expects us to have a deep understanding of the product, and often their responses will not be satisfactory if we lack it. The same can happen with the documentation.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

The most important thing when considering this solution is to have an implementing agency or a highly qualified and experienced development team in projects using Oracle software. It is also important to analyze whether we really need the power of this application for our business, as being such a comprehensive product, there is a risk of underutilizing it.

**What problems is Oracle Integration Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Support the development team to perform integrations between companies' internal systems and the Oracle Commerce Cloud platform. Through this cloud application, integration times and costs associated with the acquisition and maintenance of hardware are reduced.

We have been able to streamline business processes by eliminating needs for duplicate entry in our core business platforms.

The easy and simplicity of integrating and creating soap and rest endpoints. Another plus point is the ability to automate workflow. To continue with, when we talk about Oracle the main thing is trust, and that's what you get with their cloud-based products. That's why the service is always online, which makes it a great solution.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

The interface is too complex, this is its main drawback. Despite being a great solution, the inclusion of so many options may not be done in the best way. Sometimes less is more.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

When it comes to choosing a cloud solution, Oracle is the safest option, and that is why I have always recommended Oracle Integration Cloud.

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

Oracle Integration Cloud is a new iPaaS that makes it very easy to connect ERP applications with Salesforce.com. They have pre-built connectors that eliminates errors by not having to worry about all the connection details needed to make sure the data mapping is accurate. This cloud service is much more competitive price-wise because you pay by the hour.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Integration Cloud?**

It does a lot of things and you really have to know the feature capabilities by reading the exhaustive documentation, so it takes time to ramp up. We were lucky and worked with an consultant with experience in Oracle integration and my team ramped up quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

Find an independent consultant with deep experience in cloud, salesforce and oracle products. The experience minimizes the need to read all the docs and ramp up.

I wish there were some cookbooks and more videos and documentation explaining some real time scenarios and customer best practices.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Integration Cloud:**

This product is in in the initial stages of maturity and based on the strides oracle makes, can be a very powerful application. Keep in constant touch with the Oracle Customer success rep and let them know that any new release notes needs to be constantly being discussed with you and are made know of flag features(features that are available in the product in sort of a beta state and can be enabled on request) and new features and adapters etc.
