What do you dislike about Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)?

1. Support for this tool from the official vendor is not very good. I have faced problems personally. The staff can be better trained for technical expertise.

2. Limits performance with too heavy databases. So you might need to consider other choices if you're planning for very large data sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have all our internal application databases set up with Oracle XE. It works fantastically with small-scale databases; however, for client-facing, we do not use this database because of its limitations with performance. "fast relational database"

What do you like best about Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)?

We can run our SQL or PL / SQL commands we write in our database. For me, the best part of this database is that it is free and licensed indefinitely. I can say that this product is a pretty good database for entry level. It is superior to other databases, especially due to the advantage of the RAC architecture. What do you dislike about Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)?

Ram and Data Size limit is the most negative feature for this database. There are also problems with Turkish language support. In addition, it may cause performance problems because there is only one instance limitation on a machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)?

The best thing I like about the Oracle Express Edition (XE) is that it's free for use and easy to install. There isn't any training or need for a tutorial to install Oracle Express Edition. It just takes a few clicks, and your database is installed on your computer or laptop. It's great for students who are learning Oracle Database. Small software like POS (Point of Sale) data can be stored in the database very easily. Very lightweight installation kit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database Express Edition (XE)?

There is the limitation of database size; you cannot store more than 4 GB of user data, a hard-coded limitation. There isn't any support from Oracle as it's the free version for use. It will work on only one processor core, no matter how many you have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
