The platform occasionally needs a bit more flexibility with fine-tuning clip selections, especially when I want to keep a very specific moment or transition. What’s really frustrating is getting charged for a renewal when I still have nearly 2,000 credits left in my account. I feel like I should be able to use up what I’ve already paid for and then decide if I want to renew — not be forced into another charge. It feels more like a cash grab than customer care. I like how much time Opus saves the user while still developing a professional product. I think it's a game changer with all the tools it offers including AI, and it customizes videos like captions and formats very well. I like how easy it is to edit these clips. Opus has several things being beta tested including the AI features. I like how I can use AI to create B-roll but often times the B-roll doesn't project the tone I'm looking for. The AI is also very slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The execution of OpusClip is extremely lacking. The clips it pulls are really hit or miss. If it generates 20 clips, maybe two or three are ready to go. I'm talking baseline quality standards, like the subtitles accurately reflecting what was said, the cut making sense, or the framing of the video being centered. By the time I finish fixing the things that don't look right in the clip, I've spent as much, if not more, time than I would have creating the clip by myself in Premiere. The only thing it really saves me time on is sourcing the clip, but as I said, the quality of the placements of clips is so poor that even that isn't really helpful in many cases. Been using OpusClip as a Pro user for about two months. This is an incredible timesaver! I typically upload a 12-15 video daily and out pop 10-15 clips ranging from 30 seconds to two minutes (using the auto settings), Each is branded with colors and a logo of my choosing.

Two things are annoying. First, I've tried using OpusClips for videos with a moving speaker and it just doesn't work. I can split frames and position the speaker, but that's tedious andOpus is supposed to do this automatically.

Second, editied captions don't always sync with the video. Sometimes words will show up in captions that aren't in the audio; other times the audio still plays when I deleted words from the captions. Probably 85-90% accuracy in this area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main benefit of OpusClip is that you can quickly create short branded videos to share across social platforms.

The captions functionality is great. It generates very accurate subtitles and you can very easily edit them (though this is rarely necessary) and change the font, colour, and positioning.

It's also great that you can save up to five branded templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Often, the clips that OpusClip produces have odd frames in between sections of video. These look a bit janky and are very hard to remove as editing functionalities are limited.

Another thing I often find frustrating is that the video keeps playing at full speed while you're editing it, so while you're trying to change one part of the video, it moves to another.
