That Opine reduces friction. Bi-directional CRM sync eliminates duplicate updates, deal hygiene becomes simpler, and leadership visibility improves without adding administrative overhead. It amplifies good presales execution instead of forcing more process.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

There are times when its default hierarchy or integration model doesn’t align perfectly with an existing company workflow. That said, the Opine team has been receptive to feedback and genuinely collaborative in helping refine our workflows as we’ve scaled our usage.

**What problems is Opine AI Presales Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opine addresses the core challenges of running an SE-led sales motion at scale: fragmented execution, limited visibility into technical validation, and excessive manual overhead.

Before implementing Opine, our POCs and evaluations were scattered across slides, spreadsheets, Slack threads, Gong calls, and Salesforce updates. That fragmentation slowed deals, made forecasting overly dependent on subjective updates, consumed SE capacity with admin work, and left product teams without clear visibility into revenue-impacting gaps.

Opine brings technical validation into a single, structured workspace. Each evaluation has defined success criteria, clear owners, milestones, and blockers, all visible in real time. Instead of chasing updates in Slack or rebuilding context in weekly decks, we now have live deal health that’s directly tied to technical progress.

It also significantly reduces SE administrative overhead. Call insights, Slack threads, and activity signals are synthesized into structured deal summaries. CRM updates are easier to keep current, and POC plans can be generated from templates rather than built from scratch. As a result, SEs spend less time project-managing and more time solutioning with customers.

For leadership, the biggest benefit is more objective forecasting. We can track milestone completion, blocker age, sentiment shifts, and technical readiness, not just rely on AE judgment. Risks surface earlier, and quarter-end surprises are reduced.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

Not having to log in to Salesforce just to keep track of the opps I’m working on is a big plus.

It gives me a centralized place to keep my notes, tasks, and files tied to each deal, so everything stays in one spot.

It also makes meeting prep easier by providing a quick deal summary that’s great for a refresher—especially since deals tend to ebb and flow over time.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

Nothing much to report yet. I’m still only using what feels like about 10% of the tool so far, but I’m looking forward to learning more about it and figuring out how to use it more effectively to help streamline my work.

**What problems is Opine AI Presales Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given the volume of work (Sales Opps) I have to manage, this is the one tool I rely on every day to stay organized and plan my work around my opps.

Deal Overview, Tasks, and Notes & File Center are the key sub-modules I use most often.

On top of that, I no longer (or only very, very rarely) have to log in to Salesforce CRM just to find information, notes, and other details, which is a huge plus and a real time-saver.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I really like how flexible the Opine AI Presales Platform is. It makes me much more efficient and effective at my job. The document generation feature is something I particularly love. We're able to create templates that help us collect information, especially for our sales to services handoffs or win/loss reports, and what used to take me hours digging through different platforms now only takes three clicks and maybe two minutes. It's made us so much more efficient as a presales tool, and I'm excited about how it makes us more effective and powerful in our deals.

There are small changes I'd like to see in some of the filtering capabilities, but Opine has been really open to our feedback and has made many changes to the platform in partnership with us already.

When I was first introduced to Opine via a mutual contact, I was blown away that I finally found a platform actually built for solution engineers.  Many products had advertised to be before without any success.  Opine allows a sales or solution engineer to be able to update all stakeholder, all connected platforms all at once.  It saves my team so much time.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

At no fault of their own, Opine is still a young company.  There are plenty of other platforms that I would love to get into their catalog.  The team has added platforms for me before, so I am well aware of their ability to do so.  It should also be a testament that I can see adding more platforms as a sign of repeated success I am getting from Opine.

Time and visibility.  Presales teams always struggle with updating stakeholders, updating notes, updating source of records, etc. to multiple teams and stakeholders.  Opine allows for this to all be done once and pushed elsewhere in a uniform way knowning that everyone is receiving the same data at the same time.  There are also plenty of teams, to include customer success, product and marketing who can look at Opine and gain visibility and insights, they otherwise would never be able to.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I really like that the platform makes it easy to add in additional fields, which provides a really nice user experience. It also has simple template building options, which makes it much easier for cross-functional teams to work together and collaborate. Opine Presales Automation Platform also integrates seamlessly with HubSpot, pulling all the information about the evaluations and automatically uploading it, which eliminates the need for any manual work. This seamless integration saves a lot of time. Setting up the platform was a breeze, taking just a couple of clicks and maybe half an hour to configure and customize the first set of templates. After that, we were off to the races. Switching from spreadsheets to Opine has saved a lot of time on busy work, giving the AEs more time for selling.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I would say the main component is that sometimes it can be hard to navigate the home page and dashboard. But once you become familiar with it, it's not too much of a problem.

It keeps our SEs focused on the customer rather than administrative tasks by seamlessly syncing everything back to our CRM.

The AI capabilities are particularly impressive. It doesn't just summarize; it actively identifies opportunity risk, making it easy for both individual contributors and managers to spot issues early. Crucially, Opine enables "Revenue Engineering"—we can now tie product defects and feature requests directly to real opportunity dollars. This gives Presales a data-driven seat at the table to prioritize the roadmap based on actual revenue impact.

Finally, the "lossless handoff" feature uses AI to auto-generate transition documents, bridging the gap between pre-sales and post-sales. It ensures our internal teams are aligned and the customer experience is seamless from prospect to deployment.

Honestly, nothing comes to mind as a negative. Any minor configuration needs or workflow adjustments we encountered during implementation were resolved with incredible speed by their product and customer success teams. They act as true partners in our success.

Before Opine, we had significant blind spots in our global SE activity. Tracking consistency was non-existent; everyone managed opportunities differently, and getting accurate data into Salesforce was a constant struggle.

Opine solved these inefficiencies by standardizing our process and automating CRM updates, which removed the manual toil for the team. It gives me clear optics into activity, potential risks, and competitive threats. It has effectively bridged the gap between our stakeholders, allowing us to work as a unified team and prioritize the right opportunities for the business.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

The team behind Opine is what I personally feel is the best part of the product and the company.  They keep their promises, innovate quickly, address issues promptly, and listen to feedback and recommendations.  The product itself is the best on the market; easy to use, delivers time to value, and accelerates our operations.  I have used two others in the past: One that has been around the longest and one that has been around for a few years. Opine surpasses both in terms of functionality and operationalization, but the team itself is what differentiates them from others.  The two features that stand out to us are the Gong integration and AI Summarization.  Our previous vendor sold us on delivering the Gong integration in a relatively short time, but failed.  By having these two features, it allows us to automate the mundane tasks of an SE and give time back to spend with our prospects.

Nothing to speak of right now.  They respond quickly to address any issues and innovate constantly.

Captures every single step of PoV motion (opportunity details, account teams, customer contacts, PoV templates, Task assignments, Scheduling, Report Generation, PoV statistics etc.), and then some. It's cloud-hosted, very easy to integrate with key systems like HubSpot, Slack, Gong etc. & their pre/post-sales teams are very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

Opine is an excellent platform & solves a major gap in every organization's sales/solution engineering process. Love everything thus far.

**What problems is Opine AI Presales Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addresses the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle where Sales teams create an opportunity and then hand-ball it to the SE teams. SE's generally have manual and inconsistent processes to generate their PoV's; everyone has different criteria to test upon; customer feedback loop is missing; there's no integration with systems like JIRA where Feature Requests or defects encountered during the process, could be passed onwards. Inbound integration from SFDC or HubSpot generally is missing, and everything is done over emails, which also doesn't bode well from handover from one SE to another.

There generally an absence of customer-feedback-loop where they could like/dislike a PoV task, which thus could result in (de)prioritizing PoV use-cases. SE's generally have to create a manual document ( ppt | doc ) capturing PoV deliverables. Finally there isnt any AI involved in manual processes.

Opine addresses every single one of the above steps, and then some. Creation of PoV phases & use-cases are as simple as providing a documentation URL, which automatically populates tasks. Extensive inbound and outbound integrations are available with HubSpot, Slack, Gong, JIRA etc.; PoV reports can be generated using Opine AI & above all - prospects are engaged throughout the process.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

Opine is very obviously made by SEs for SEs. I love that it incorporates data from Gong recordings, internal and external slack channels, salesforce, and more.  

Rarely having to go into Salesforce is a big plus, but the biggest plusses for me are the evaluation plan and product requests, with tie-ins to Linear & Jira.

My prospects love it, because it shows I am organized and professional and they are not being sent a Google spreadsheet as POC tracker. It also lets them know that we are all on the same page and they are being heard. So far, almost every prospect has called our Opine as a positive factor in our evaluations.

The Opine team is continuously delivering, both based on their experience and also customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

The AI content generation, overall is helpful, but sometimes can be a little too eager. That said, they are tuning it and I have seen it continue to get better by the week.

**What problems is Opine AI Presales Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many, but some of the key ones are gain general organization of notes, deal tasks, evaluations, next steps, and other deal details with an SE focus, while not being siloed from our other tools. Evaluation plans are consistently built, driving poof of value, avoiding scope creep, and everyone internally has visibility on the current status.  General leadership visibility within the platform and the automated CRM updates are super helpful, letting us operate async but always up to date.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I use Opine daily.  It provides essential capabilities focused on delivering a consistent sales experience to our customers.  It is easy to use and has built API integrations for other business communication tools (such as Slack) for easy updates / communication to key stakeholders.  Customer support/Engineering have been extremely responsive, fixing issues we discover extremely quickly, as well as implementing new enhancements with similar response times.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I haven't found a significant downside as of yet, but if I had to highlight one I would point out that this is a new tool under very active development.

**What problems is Opine AI Presales Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opine ties together the multiple tools I use daily to get my job done as a Sales Engineer effectively.  Updates on meetings / sales process are provided in a single location and disseminated to other systems that consume that data.  I spend less time inefficiently updating data in multiple places and more time on things that matter.

We’ve been using Opine to support our pre-sales process, and I’m genuinely impressed.

- Customer support is fast and thoughtful
- New features keep landing 
-  Implementation was very straightforward 
- It doesn’t force us into CRM-heavy workflows
- Most importantly—it’s built for sales engineers, not just sales ops

Feels rare to find a tool that fits how SEs work. With Opine, my team can focus on delivering value instead of wrangling spreadsheets or chasing down updates. It’s lightweight, flexible, and just works.

Excited to see how the platform continues to evolve.

- Still early in some areas – not all features are fully mature yet, and you may run into rough edges.
- Metrics and dashboards could be more customizable – if you're used to slicing data deeply.
- Role-based access control needs to be implemented in certain areas

Scattered pre-sales work – Notes, evaluations, and technical wins are often buried in Slack, docs, or in someone's head.
No consistent view of PoVs/technical activities – Sales leaders fly blind when it comes to what's happening in evaluations.
CRM fatigue – Most CRMs don’t fit how SEs operate; they’re built for closing deals, not proving value.

**What do you like best about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

Opine is exactly what I had sketched out a while ago, hoping to one day build a tool that helps SEs manage their deals, take notes, link to calendars, capture data from Slack, have light project management, and NEVER EVER HAVE TO LOG IN TO SALESFORCE AGAIN. The team at Opine built exactly this, and it goes beyond, and this says one thing...they knew exactly the pain SEs go through, and how to help them reduce the busy work and focus on winning deals.

I love Opine's AI feature. It can connect to Slack and surface certain things, such as blockers, tasks, issues, etc., and also post to Slack to specific channels.

The project management aspect, or the PoV plan, is super helpful and prospects like and use it.
The team at Opine is super genuine, listens to feedback, and generally implements features or fixes in days, not weeks, not months, but days!

The user interface is really easy to use and super catchy! They have a nice workbench where you can see what you're focusing on right now and build custom filters.

There is a use case library that helps you create PoV plans, and you can add them to predefined templates to speed up the process, but you can add new things ad-hoc.

Implementation was a breeze. We even implemented on Hubspot and then migrated to SFDC. It wasn't perfect, but the team made the transition seamless.

Austin is just the best.

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

The Jira integration is excellent, but a bit rigid. The team is working on making it more dynamic, per our feedback
The PoV readout could be better, and I'd love to have a way to present from within. The team worked on this feature but shelved it due to a lack of interest, and we're hoping they'll revive it.
It can be a bit click-opsy, and I would love to see some QoL improvements, such as entering to save, etc.

It's built from the ground up by SE's for SE's on top of GenAI technologies and just works. It connects to all our tools seamlessly and they were willing to support additional needed integrations.

You just have to be careful on how your CRM is setup so that the mappings are done correctly, once done it's great!

The UI and AI are amazing. We can now create complex POCs in seconds, compared to using spreadsheets. I also love how Opine helps us keep track of customer requests and bugs, allowing us to easily inform leadership about what's blocking our deals.

Nothing at this time. It's a different way to run POCs, but once you learn how to use Opine, it makes POCs and MAPs much easier.

1) Would love to see functionality added to extend current deal into the next deal (renewal, add-on, etc.) with the customer. Rarely is a customer 1 and done.
2) Condense the tiles so there isn't so much whitespace
3) Add the ability to filter deals by region, industry, age, etc.

Wholistic view of deal health (action items, velocity, customer engagement, etc.)

I love that I now have a single pane of glass to view all of the deals I'm working on, and I can easily see what tasks I need to complete before moving the opportunity to the next stage. No more jumping from Slack, CRM, & emails!

**What do you dislike about Opine AI Presales Platform?**

I can take notes in each deal within Opine, but I can't push those notes to my CRM and slack. They are working on this capability and we should have it soon!

Gives me a single pane of glass to work from and I don't have to jump into multiple different tools looking for opportunity notes.

Built-in reporting and automation is a winning feature which helps the end use summarize key results and report to the prospect easier and faster

It's a newer product, so with a few product enhancement requests, this platform will get even better!
