In the web GIS project wer have implemented our aim was to create an application where users can upload their GIS data into our server for processing and to show processed data on a map. We have implemented new technologies such as vector layers in web GIS. OpenLayer's vector layer library have helped us to visualize spatial data and we have used some other tools such as drag&drop on map for implementing the user interaction with application. In fact I was a great fan of Leaflet. But when I was trying to find a way to show and manage vector layers on Leaflet I came across with a problem still persist on Leaflet's vector layer library. So I changed my direction to openLayers. But my prior experience wasn't so pretty with OpenLayers (v3) but last year I've realized OpenLayers 5 was bundled with webpack and there are plenty of examples on the documentation. Boilerplate Openlayers5 project on the Github was the best thing about OpenLayers. I was able to build my project on top of it very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
