**What do you like best about Openlane?**

I’m the founder and CEO of a B2B AI startup that provides solutions to large manufacturing companies. When we first went through our SOC 2 Type II observation and audit, I was very involved alongside our technical team. As someone who had never used a GRC tool before, I found OpenLane very easy and quick to get familiar with. I was able to use it smoothly to communicate with the auditor and our internal team, while also tracking progress, evidence, and policies in just a few clicks. It saved me a lot of effort, and I could quickly jump in to understand the current status, see what was pending, and help the team push things over the finish line. Their support and service have been very valuable to us as well. OpenLane, led by their CEO Kelsey Waters has been a great partner to enhance our IT and data security program and our competitiveness in the market.

**What do you dislike about Openlane?**

This is relatively a newer solution, there's room and flexibility to grow and improve, i.e. integrations and automation. But I see this as a plus, because their acts quick and listens to customer feedback, so I believe they can grow the solution fast and perhaps even better based on learnings from the industry and broader customers.

**What problems is Openlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've used OpenLane platform for almost 7 months now. We chose OpenLane and started using the platform to support our SOC 2 Type II and other security program and external inquiries. It is the one-stop shop for our security program overview to facilitate the auditor's review and feedback.
