By being able to automatically match a lot of invoices from the get go, Open Envoy allows us to focus only on those invoices which require additional attention. The AI technology has made it easier for us to identify where discrepencies are coming from, which originally took a lot of time to search for manually. **What do you dislike about OpenEnvoy?** There are small hiccups here and there, such as the system incorrectly identifying vendors on several occassions. Additionally, sometimes the invoices are slow to come out of a matching status. However, Open Envoy is quick to help us when we raise any issues to them. **What problems is OpenEnvoy solving and how is that benefiting you?** OpenEnvoy mainly saves our team a lot of time in our AP reconcilation process, helping us pay our bills on time and freeing up our time to work on other items. ### 3. When a job seemlessly is approved and synced through OE it's wonderful. In addition, when OE accurately applies GL codes and reads all the invoices' little notations accurately it makes the whole billing process a lot smoother ! The filters also make it very easy to sort through jobs. **What do you dislike about OpenEnvoy?** There have been quite a few errors. Including OE having billed some of the jobs incorrectly, mislabelling GL codes, not recognizing that an item is on back order ( and listed as such on the invoice), not applied freight/dropship charges. I could go on. But the OE team is continuing to help work with me on these, so I appreciate that. **What problems is OpenEnvoy solving and how is that benefiting you?** OE is providing automated billing, which creates time that I would otherwise use on that, for other things. In addition, OE has been helpful in bringing errors to my attention in a more efficient manner as well. The dispute feature is a very nice way to keep any problems organized, though I would love to see a more detailed dispute feature. This quick and easy organizing of overbillings, mischarges, errors, etc makes it an over all streamlined way to work through them. ### 4. OpenEnvoy was essential in offloading many manual tasks within our AP department. As our company continues to grow and expand the number of invoices being processed grows with it, which before automation, required the hiring of more personnel. Now growth involves a small amount of onboarding for each new vendor and we are off to the races with them. We also have the ability to monitor our staff's workload easily and make sure invoices are being appropriately audited. **What do you dislike about OpenEnvoy?** The only downside I can really think of is just the initial process of onboarding and training the staff. We had a time investment there and initial learning pains. **What problems is OpenEnvoy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allocation of staffing to do manual data entry has been a problem since the start of our company. In addition, there was never a crystal clear auditing process or accountability for the audit at least. They are very honest, skilled and responsive. The developers from India work in US hours. The thing I liked most about them is commitment and responsiveness. The application is AD enabled, so no new login credentials to remember. **What do you dislike about OpenEnvoy?** The filtering capability of files is very basic. You have to create a lot of tags to filter files. There are lot of freight related standard fields that are missing from filters. Scope of improvement for product to make it more configurable than customized through code. Also, the inbuilt BI dashboard is very basic and can be improved for in-depth BI. **What problems is OpenEnvoy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Freight payment audit and automation. OpenEnvoy is able to connect to our financial system to gather freight estimates, compare the invoice against rates and auto pay if everything matches or flag for manual review if above matching tolerance or allow to mark for disputes.
