## Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable OTM Platform for Security Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit T. | AI Business Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

The Open Threat Management Platform has strengthened my security operations by bringing threat detection, correlation, and response together in a single, unified interface. With real-time monitoring, automated alert correlation, and configurable workflows, it has noticeably reduced manual effort and the constant need to switch between tools. The centralized dashboard and straightforward rule configuration, for example, save me several hours each week when handling threat analysis and managing responses. On top of that, the platform improves visibility into cross-system threat patterns, which helps me make decisions faster and with greater accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

I find that the OTM Platform can be somewhat complex to set up and configure initially, and it has a steep learning curve for new users. At times, the system generates a high volume of alerts, which can lead to alert fatigue and make it harder to focus on critical threats. Additionally, integration with certain third-party or legacy systems may require extra effort, and the overall user interface could be more intuitive. In some cases, performance overhead and scalability costs can also be a concern in larger environments.

**What problems is Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The OTM Platform helps address key challenges in threat detection, monitoring, and incident response by providing centralized visibility across security events. It improves the ability to quickly identify and respond to potential threats, reducing detection and response times. This benefits me by streamlining security operations, improving overall situational awareness, and helping maintain stronger compliance and protection of critical systems.

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

I use Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform for all my cybersecurity needs. It's basically a 360-degree platform that covers everything, which I really like because it leaves no room for any other platform needs except for the hardware firewall. This platform handles all my SIEMs, XTR, UABAA, NDR, and IVS, making it comprehensive for cybersecurity. I can practically do everything with this platform in terms of cybersecurity, which is great. What I love most is that I have everything under one roof, a single umbrella, eliminating the need for multiple, silo-based vendors shifting planes during an attack. The proactive detection feature is my favorite.

**What do you dislike about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

I'd like the dashboard to also display closed threats. As a management consultant, I want to know how many alerts were closed successfully today. I believe it's possible to track that information, but I'd like to see it at a glance.

**What problems is Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the Open Threat Management Platform for my cybersecurity needs. It effectively solves zero-day threat detection issues and provides proactive detection, covering all essential areas under one platform.

  ### 9. Seceon Open Threat Management: Real-Time Cybersecurity with Automated Threat Remediation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay Pandian S. | Endpoint Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

Real-Time Threat Detection & Response
Seceon OTM continuously monitors and analyzes data in real-time, allowing organizations to detect and respond to threats as they occur—not hours or days later.

AI-Driven Automation
One of its biggest strengths is the use of AI and machine learning to automate the detection, analysis, and even remediation of cyber threats—significantly reducing the burden on security teams.

Unified Platform (All-in-One Security Stack)
It combines SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and threat intelligence into a single pane of glass, so you don’t need to integrate and manage multiple products.

**What do you dislike about Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform?**

Resource / Hardware Demands, Especially for Smaller Organizations:

Some users find that to run Seceon OTM comfortably, you need fairly strong infrastructure (servers, CPUs, RAM).

The platform sometimes requires dedicated virtual machines or high‑spec hardware, which adds cost and complexity.

Feature Gaps or Surface‑Level Depth in Some Modules :

For example, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) functionality is often referred to as “superficial,” meaning it may not cover the depth or customization that certain enterprises expect.

Users also ask for sandboxing capabilities, which are not yet fully mature or present.

Customization & Flexibility:

Some customers find that dashboards and the management console could use more polish, better customization, more flexible configuration options.

Add‑ons are often bundled with the larger suite rather than being offered as standalone modules; this may force paying for capabilities you don’t need or want.

**What problems is Open Threat Management (OTM) Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual Threat Detection Was Too Slow and Inaccurate
Before using Seceon OTM, we were heavily reliant on manual investigation and static rule-based alerts. It led to alert fatigue, missed threats, and slow response times.

Too Many Security Tools, Not Enough Integration
We were juggling multiple tools (SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, threat intel feeds) from different vendors. The lack of integration made correlation difficult and incident response sluggish.

Lack of Real-Time Visibility Across the Network
Our previous tools didn’t provide a unified, real-time view of our environment. Threats were often discovered after the fact, when damage was already done.
