You can chat with multiple people at the same time. You can have this on your phone or laptop/ desktop. You easily invite your friends and they join for free. It is like Facetime but for all people.. not just iphone users or android, everyone can use this! Free and easy way to chat your cousins across the country...as long as your wifi connection is solid you should have an enjoyable call! **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** The connection to the actual server often times freezes. When this happens you cannot see the person on the other line or even hear them.. it can stay frozen for a few minutes. This stinks because it happens at the most random times and without warning too. When it does happen you just have to hang up and call the person back again. Not much other of a dislike, overall LOVE! **Recommendations to others considering ooVoo:** Download it- very easy and well worth it for just about everything!!!! **What problems is ooVoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Free Video chat- saves a us a ton of money. We can chat with whoever from wherever without limitation. We can do large calls with multiple callers all at once, never had any issues with any of this. Employees are pretty happy with the system themselves. They like that the download is painless and easy to understand when installing onto their computers. Easy instruction leads us all to success. It is also a plus that their does not need to be a "leader" of the call, we can all jump on without having to wait on anyone. ### 6. Great for connecting with collaborators that aren’t local. They have a decent amount of features even with the free version (screen shot option, chat, etc.) **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** Shuts down from time to time which can be frustrating when you are on a time crunch. Works better with a PC instead of a MAC. Connection is worse through wifi. Video and voice can sometimes be off (voice is heard before mouth is moving) which can be distracting or difficult to understand. **Recommendations to others considering ooVoo:** Take a look at the features offered so you can find out if the software is right for you (Premium vs Free). **What problems is ooVoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Video chatting, conference calls, collaborative meetings, brain storming sessions, etc. Has been helpful for large group meetings since the software allows up to 12 users. ### 8. This resource allows keeping a record not only of the time in which the meeting was held, but also of the content of the meeting. It also boasts a totally intuitive interface and offers the possibility of making calls with or without video, text messages and file transfer. **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** Only allow up to twelve members in a video conference, this tool is among the least sought after when it comes to connecting meetings between many people. In addition, it presents problems in the transfer of files during meetings, so it is understandable that this fluency will depend on how many people participate and the connection they have at the moment. **Recommendations to others considering ooVoo:** Many of their services are free but with limited capacity. For example, voice messages are free, but if they exceed the minute they are payments. **What problems is ooVoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since it is not necessary for your friends, clients or partners to have installed the program to participate in video conferences, communication improves remarkably anywhere and at any time, a plus on other programs such as Messenger and Skype. ### 11. The only good thing is that it is free to download. **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** Our office insists on using this video conference software and it is absolutely the worst. The video consistently lags and freezes or the call drops. In order to use, everyone in the office has to disconnect from the company WiFi so there is enough bandwidth to run the software. The design of the app is improved over the years and is very simple even for people who are not technical. The video and audio quality are always great and sharp **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** This isn't inherently an issue with the program itself, but some people just haven't heard of it or aren't familiar with it which makes them hesitant to use it **Recommendations to others considering ooVoo:** Definitely give it a try! I love using it because it is attractive and easy to use! Having the option to have up to 12 people in one call is one of the best things especially for large cyber meetings. **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** There’s not much that I dislike about the software. I feel like it may be a bit outdated. It gets the job done though, so I can’t complain much. **What problems is ooVoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s been used to gather employees that are not in the office setting as in some remote employees. This allows for easy access, central meeting point via web, and makes it easier for employees to be in one meeting. ### 17. I never realized that I can video chat with all of my 7 employees simultaneously, but ooVoo makes this possible. Video clarity is awesome. Unlike other softwares that are only two ways, this is more conference based. **What do you dislike about ooVoo?** Sometimes sound gets stuck from the person on other end, especially in iphones. **Recommendations to others considering ooVoo:** It is better than snapchat or skype or even Tango. **What problems is ooVoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its better than snapchat or even skype.
