**What do you like best about ONTAP Select?**

ONTAP assists you in building a storage infrastructure that lowers costs, speeds up crucial workloads, and secures and protects data throughout your hybrid multicloud.

**What do you dislike about ONTAP Select?**

Nothing as such. The software usage is good and the ease of use is very high. I like the software build up.

**What problems is ONTAP Select solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a hybrid cloud and hyperconverged solutions. Security and date management becomes easy to use. My work has become more productive after using it.

Easy deploy with license any hypervisor 
Cost efficient

Troubleshooting deploy has minimum error that shows the node connectivity

Without additional haware requirment we can deploy Ontap select

Metro cluster based ontap select implementated on ESXi

Ontap Select has a good amount of features with a pretty clean interface.

**What do you dislike about ONTAP Select?**

Hard to justify for businesses of a smaller size, it might be overkill. Initial setup can sometimes be quite a task.

**Recommendations to others considering ONTAP Select:**

Do your research, and make sure that you set up a test install environment.

**What problems is ONTAP Select solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OnTap has been a good choice for our storage needs. Since we use a good deal of VMWare, this fits into the environment very well.

**What do you like best about ONTAP Select?**

The fast recovery of data by using snapshots, the new management by using fabric pool and the provided intergration tools, Consistant time proven upgrade paths

**What do you dislike about ONTAP Select?**

It is bit hard to set up and configure, learning curve is somewhat steep on some functions

**What problems is ONTAP Select solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Snapshots and compressions are the major problems that were solved with ONTAP
