Very flexible in setting up canvases and managing layers by showing/hiding. **What do you dislike about OmniGraffle?** Only available for Mac. Many PC users do not like this and makes it difficult to be versatile tool. **Recommendations to others considering OmniGraffle:** Omnigraffle is a leading UX tool. Makes wireframing very easier and efficient. I would love to have it available on PC platform to make it versatile tool. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easily create workflow, wireframes, sketches. Its relatively quick once youre up and running to crank out wireframes. Omnigraffle has a better extensive stencil list of various Operation Systems that make creating good fidelity wireframes look professional and clean. **What do you dislike about OmniGraffle?** Its not seamless to import into another software for example Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Im able to create wireframes pretty efficiently and quickly that helps the business flow and productivity. ### 4. There are some really great UI libraries that make prototyping extremely easy. **What do you dislike about OmniGraffle?** The price! I think the price point should be lower initially. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Website mockups, wireframes, iOS and Android mockups, site maps, and so forth. It allows me to work up a sketch quickly and make changes to an interface easily. ### 5. Not intuitive enough. **Recommendations to others considering OmniGraffle:** Spend a fair amount of time looking at all the features and figure out what you need. Many features and tools get buried. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've found Omnigraffle to be really useful for sitemaps and user flows, which has helped solve some basic pain point issues. ### 6. When I really need this, I use graphviz to create the diagram and live with its limitations. ### 7. I often try alternatives, mainly because I would want to use a tool that is platform independent/online, but I always come back to OmniGraffle . Stuff I like best are the incremental changes with every version and the high quality templates that are available online. **What do you dislike about OmniGraffle?** The handling of text in/out/near a shape is still a bit awkward. **Recommendations to others considering OmniGraffle:** There is a trial version available on OmniGroup's website. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating flow charts, wire frames, timelines ### 8. Both are super-powerful tools, but have a learning curve. **What do you dislike about OmniGraffle?** The lack of a comprehensive set of OmniGraffle stencils provided by the company is a bit frustrating. Most of the stencils out of the box are not useful for website or web app prototyping. For those stencils, you need to go to a site like Graffletopia. **Recommendations to others considering OmniGraffle:** I tend to stay away from the cloud-base wireframing solutions since they won't allow me to do my work without an internet connection and they require a monthly fee. **What problems is OmniGraffle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use OmniGraffle to prototype websites and web apps. Doing so allows me to convey ideas and product directions to people to get feedback prior to implementation. Doing this saves loads of man hours and increases happiness 34%. ### 10.
