"I've lost faith in Okera."
What do you like best about Okera?

Okera is mostly recognized as a data protection tool, but they are not very good at it. Because of their negligence, I don't like Okera at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

At Okera, there are countless reasons to despise them. The security system for Okera is really weak, and I believe their security tools are very ineffective. As far as I can see, their primary responsibility is data protection, and I connected with them to protect my web data, but they let me down in this regard. Consequently, I detest them for this reason alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Okera complete and concise review"
What do you like best about Okera?

Okera is an excellent tool for securing and protecting any company data. Therefore, Okera provides access control to the different roles in the team, so that it allows admins to control who has what type of access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

Okera is not suitable for every company. It has many issues that people face. In some cases, it is very complex to use it. If you're integrating Okera with another data software platform, then it needs more manual steps than automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Globally standardized marketing metadata was impossible until Okera."
What do you like best about Okera?

It's simple to discover what you're searching for in prior shipments, and several phases of the process assist the user in determining what information is required in their package. The program is easy to use and very adaptable. I can create inside the platform, data flows well, and the crew is responsive when there are issues. Okera enables us to establish global standards and governance over metadata gathering and tracking linkages for the first time. Okera integrates easily with Adobe Analytics, and we were able to configure a bespoke integration with our internal database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

Okera is notoriously sluggish to load and prone to mistakes. One of the primary reasons a customer hired Okera was to ensure that randomly generated codes were unique; unfortunately, a defect resulted in duplicate codes being created. As a result, we require quality control on all Okera shipments, and it appears that we cannot always rely on the outcome. It's difficult to make changes to the dozens of templates I handle from an admin/maintenance viewpoint. Integrations with ad systems like Google Campaign Manager (DCM) are still very manual. The bulk upload functionality is also still in the works from the user's standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Data management and access control platform for big data systems."
What do you like best about Okera?

Okera is helpful because it provides centralized data management and fine-grained access control for big data systems, enabling organizations to securely manage and share their data while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Some of the upsides of using Okera include:

Improved data security: Okera provides role-based access control, allowing administrators to define who has access to what data.

Increased efficiency: With Okera, data engineers and analysts can access and work with the data they need without relying on IT for help.

Better data governance: Okera provides a centralized platform for managing and auditing data access, making it easier to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Scalability: Okera is designed to scale to meet the needs of large organizations, so users can access the data they need without performance bottlenecks.

Integration with popular data tools: Okera integrates with popular big data tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Hive, and Apache Impala, making it easy to work with data in a familiar environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

Like any technology, Okera has its limitations and may not be the best solution for every use case. Some of the downsides of using Okera include:

Steep learning curve: Okera's central control and management features may require a significant investment in time and resources to set up and maintain, particularly for organizations with limited IT resources.

Integration challenges: Integrating Okera into an existing big data infrastructure may require custom development work, which can be time-consuming and expensive.

Performance overhead: The central management and control features of Okera may introduce some performance overhead, particularly for complex or resource-intensive data access and processing tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"highly secure analysis"
What do you like best about Okera?

The data protection of our system is very safe, the concern that the data was at risk is now a concern of the past because its analysis approach is very complete and does not allow intruders into the system.

helps us reduce costs in AWS service and meets all the proposed expectations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

its foreground execution is very complicated, I had to contact support several times. The good thing is that they were very kind to help but I feel that its execution should be easier without so many configuration steps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"guaranteed security"
What do you like best about Okera?

It is important to be sure that all data is protected free from any attack that may affect the proper functioning of the company.

The option to block files for unauthorized users is perfect because I only have to enable the user that I want to have access Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

Its operation is correct but the first times I started using it it was very complex to learn due to the lack of a good manual that would better specify the processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best tool for data access with data security"
What do you like best about Okera?

I found Okera the best because it keeps my personal and sensitive data securely. I have got no worries about the data loss. I have been using this for the past two months and it looks pretty comfortable and good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Okera?

They could have brought more specifications in the Ui part. As it has less features in front. But it is pretty simple to use, and I personally didn't feel any more significant cons to dislike it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
