Additionally, advanced users and programmers can benefit and save programming time. **What do you dislike about Odoo Studio?** Although it is very friendly and intuitive, it requires advanced knowledge of the system itself. That is, while it is not necessary to know how to program, experience in managing the system as an administrative user is vital. **What problems is Odoo Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, not having in-house programmers, we had to carry out developments with our Odoo Partner, which generated an additional cost for us no matter how minimal the change we wanted to make, not to mention the time it could take. With Odoo Studio, I can add fields or view new columns in the list view with just a few clicks. ### 2. So, the moral of the story is get some training. Note that I watched Odoo training videos (good, but way too high level) and searched community for training/ideas. Community is OK, but there is way too much garbage and old information. **Recommendations to others considering Odoo Studio:** We used studio for the first year, but switched to another company to support/host Odoo and they did not let us bring Studio with us. Regardless, Studio allowed us to make Odoo ours in the first year. You do need a person who is a little technical to learn and use it, as it is not for novices. This was a great investment for us and really shows the power of the Odoo suite of applications **What problems is Odoo Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to add information to screens where Odoo was lacking, but we required information. Further, we were able to make some fields required and also rename fields to make transition from previous system easier. ### 3. We are using Odoo Studio for our internal application development and for developing applications for various clients. Odoo Studio is the best tool to design and develop applications that will fit to almost all needs. We are currently using Odoo applications to create tasks that are custom automated and to list the current issues on the application. With Odoo Studio we can do things more easily than previous **What do you dislike about Odoo Studio?** The major issue is with the pricing as it is 24 USD per month, please reduce the cost so that we can deploy more applications on the Odoo Studio platform. Also please consider making some startup plans so that it can be used by small companies too. **Recommendations to others considering Odoo Studio:** It is a great tool to be used for application development. **What problems is Odoo Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are developing application to suite our internal needs, also we are using Odoo Studio for our client premises to help them achieve their internal goals. It was really convenient that what we saw fit and needed most to complete our job, we could make sure was a key function of our Odoo layout. **What do you dislike about Odoo Studio?** I dislike how Odoo takes a while to process commands. Majority of the commands that I sent it, either did not go through, or took almost a full minute to process. Working in a call center, speed is of the essence and it definitely slowed things down for a while. **Recommendations to others considering Odoo Studio:** Take your time and thoroughly learn the program. Do not try to rush through because there are small nuances that might not work themselves out as quickly as you might like. **What problems is Odoo Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have realized the benefit of company wide communication and access to files. Different company departments are all able to access and view the same files. They can make edits or additions that everyone can see. ### 5.
