ObjectFirst has done a great job of making the Ootbi extremely simple to setup and performant. The process is very straight forward and well documented. The entire process from rack, stack, config, and deply can be accomplished in under 30 minutes. After that, you live with the comfort of "immutable bliss" moving forward!

As an added bonus, everyone that I interacted with at ObjectFirst (From my sales rep to support) were extremely plesant and knowledgeable. They have a great product and they are operating already like the gold standard in their class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only chief complaint, which is more of a shot at Veeam than ObjectFirst, is that veeam has a 10 day immutable period configured that is not reflected in the UI. So you could potentially fill up your Ootbi unexpectedly, and then be unable to delete objects to clear up space. My advice for new ObjectFirst users to to slowly migrate your backup jobs. The OOTBI array is truly a quick and easy solutiion to keeping your backups secure. With the built in security and controls in place to keep the security in place, it truly is an immutable appliance. We leverage this for ourselves and our customers to provide a secure repository to store backups in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ability to scale. While this is on the roadmap to get bigger and better, the size at this time is a little turn off for the large cusotmers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Object First is amazingly easy to set up and can be running in under 30 minutes. The setup, configuration, and connectivity are very simple. Connecting the system to Veeam Backup afterwards is also extremely easy.

Simple, secure, easy to configure/setup, WebUI is clean and easy to navigate, updating is simple and connectivity to Veeam is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Object First is looking for long-term customers and we were able to see that from the first interactions with their technical team to size and then assist with the installation in our data center.
