It eliminates the need to run manual pivots in Excel on GL data. This saves our team a lot of time and helps us maintain a quick close cycle. **What do you dislike about Numeric?** There is honestly next to nothing to dislike here. The software can sometimes be buggy, but that is expected with any software where features/fixes are rolled out quickly. Support is highly responsive and the Numeric team cares about how their solution impacts their customers' work. **What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?** Numeric allows accounting teams to effectively track the close (especially helpful for teams where different folks manage different parts of the close). The fluid links to Google sheets are beneficial for anyone reviewing work papers. The biggest issue Numeric solves for is time: more and more companies are looking for quick close cycles, and Numeric makes that easy (and frankly less stressful!) to achieve. ### 6. Some items were stored in Google Sheets, while others were stored on individual machines of employees. Now with Numeric we're able to keep EVERYTHING related to our financial close in a single place - closing tasks, adjusting journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, notes, etc. It's also provided visibility of management into the close process, whereas before we were using Slack updates to keep everyone informed of progress. **What do you dislike about Numeric?** I can say honestly that I haven't come across a single issue or "dislike" with Numeric. I've been using the tool since it was in beta, and the company is incredibly receptive to customer suggestions and feature requests. They regularly reach out to customers individually to discuss what they'd like to see on the product roadmap. Their product and engineering teams push updates regularly and it seems they're quick to build out new functionality or features. **What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?** Numeric has provided a centralized location for our company's financial reporting tasks, reconciliations, and flux analysis. I have always used spreadsheets to manage month-end in the past, and I will never go back. It has allowed us to close the books in just a few days because we are not chasing down information. We can link reports in the template to save time, and add links to specific monthly items that are needed for review. The organization it provides is just the beginning, and they are always open to feedback or product ideas that will make the experience better. **What do you dislike about Numeric?** There isn't anything we dislike. The program is ever-evolving and just keeps getting better. **What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more spreadsheets! It creates an interactive checklist for month-end close, with assignments for completion and review. It keeps track of the status and sends reminders for tasks that are coming due or past due, and you can also reconcile within the system and generate reports based on the data from your GL. ### 8. I found that Numeric achieved that easily along with features like recurring due dates, approvals, and commenting. **What do you dislike about Numeric?** It's not that I dislike this, but I did not heavily use the flux analysis or reconciliation functions. I wish that the flux analysis allowed for more customized grouping of accounts. **What problems is Numeric solving and how is that benefiting you?** Numeric is providing a source of truth for our monthly close status, but it also became a handbook of our close process. This improved our business continuity, especially when we encountered turnover. ### 11.
