Notify.domains Reviews & Product Details

Notify.domains is a domain monitoring and brand protection software solution that helps users track changes to specific domain names across public registry, registrar, marketplace, and auction data sources, and receive notifications when those changes indicate an acquisition opportunity, a security event, or a status change worth acting on. The service is used by three primary audiences: individual founders and entrepreneurs tracking domains for current or future ventures; companies managing brand portfolios, defensive registrations, and rebrand or product-launch shortlists; and domain investors and brokers monitoring acquisition targets, expiring inventory, and aftermarket pricing. Common use cases include watching a desired domain that is currently registered to someone else, monitoring owned domains for unauthorized DNS or registrar changes, tracking expiration and lifecycle stages (grace, redemption, pending delete), detecting marketplace listings or price drops on aftermarkets, getting notified when a domain enters auction, and identifying typo or look-alike domains for brand protection. For each watched domain, Notify.domains performs approximately 15 automated checks per day across 150+ tracked attributes, including WHOIS and RDAP records, DNS records (A, MX, NS), SSL certificate status, HTTP availability, redirect destinations, blacklist status, marketplace listings and prices, and auction listings. Coverage spans all 1,589 top-level domains in the IANA Root Zone Database. When a tracked attribute changes, the service generates a plain-language alert describing what changed and recommending a next step. Notify.domains does not register, transfer, broker, buy, sell, or bid on domains; it is a monitoring and notification service. Key features and capabilities: * Multi-source monitoring across WHOIS/RDAP, DNS, SSL, website availability, blacklists, and major marketplaces and auction platforms (GoDaddy, Sedo, Afternic, Atom, Dynadot, Spaceship, NameSilo, Namecheap, NameJet, DropCatch, and others) * Multi-channel notifications via email, Slack, and HTTPS webhook (compatible with Zapier, n8n, Make, and custom endpoints) * Plain-language alerts that describe the change detected and recommended next steps for acquisition, response, or investigation * Domain lifecycle awareness for grace, redemption, and pending-delete phases, so users are notified at the appropriate stage of the post-expiration timeline * Custom organization and grouping of watched domains, with priority sorting and per-domain notification settings Pricing is $24 per domain per year. A 7-day free trial covering one domain is available without a credit card.
