Notify.domains is a domain name monitoring service that tracks public signals across registries, registrars, marketplaces, and auction platforms to alert users when a watched domain becomes available for acquisition or changes status.
For each watched domain, the service performs approximately 15 automated checks per day across 150+ attributes, including: WHOIS and RDAP records (registrar, registrant, expiration date, status flags such as clientHold, redemption, and pendingDelete, transfer locks), DNS records (A, MX, nameservers), SSL certificate status, HTTP availability, redirect targets, blacklist status, marketplace listings and price changes (GoDaddy, Sedo, Afternic, Atom, Dynadot, Spaceship, NameSilo, Namecheap, and others), and auction listings (GoDaddy Auctions, NameJet, DropCatch, and registrar-specific partners). Coverage includes all 1,589 top-level domains in the IANA Root Zone Database.
When a tracked attribute changes, the service sends notifications via email, Slack, or HTTPS webhook (compatible with Zapier, n8n, Make, and custom endpoints). Each alert includes a description of the change and recommended next steps for acquisition or response.
Use cases include monitoring acquisition targets, tracking owned domains for unauthorized changes (DNS modifications, transfer-lock removal, marketplace listings), brand protection (typo and look-alike domains), and portfolio management for domain investors.
