**What do you like best about nOps?**

What I like most is that it makes AWS costs much easier to understand. I can quickly see where the money is going and which service is costing the most. For example, when I saw the costs going up, I could break it down and see EC2 was the biggest part. I also like that it shows possible savings, so you don't only see the problem but also where you can potentially reduce the cost.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

At the beginning there is quite a lot of information on the screen, so it took me some time to understand where to look and which data is most important. Once you spend some time with it, it becomes easier, but I think the first experience could be a little more simple and guided.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves for me is understanding where AWS costs are actually coming from. When the total cost increases, it can be difficult to know what exactly caused it. With nOps I can break the costs down by service and quickly see which one is driving the increase. It also shows potential savings opportunities, which helps me understand where we should look first instead of checking everything manually.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

I really like the way nOps presents data. The reporting is quite nice, with clear visual representations of each cost and idle resources. The automatic cost-saving feature is pretty good too. Their support is quite nice, and they introduce features rapidly, making it feel like we've invested in the right place. The initial setup was nice as well, just connecting the account, and although data fetching can be a bit long, it was manageable.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

The overwhelming filters sometimes confuse us as there are so many in one place. They could improve the user experience by providing a design that considers the engineering perspective better. It seems like the design team might not be standing in the engineering shoes. They probably need more experienced personnel in that area.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

nOps helps our devops team manage AWS costs and track servers across regions without being overwhelmed. Our leaders love seeing spending and resource utilization clearly. Its reports and automatic cost-saving features are quite good.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

nOps helps us manage AWS Reserved Instances (RIs) and Savings Plans (SPs), and it can adapt as our AWS resource usage patterns change. With nOps, we avoid getting locked in for 1–3 years the way we might with self-deploying AWS RIs and/or SPs.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

I’m encouraged by the progress of the AI tools, though they’ll be even more helpful as they continue to improve. The integrations with Claude and ChatGPT are also encouraging.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We regularly update our fleet of EC2 instances to stay aligned with the best price/performance instance types for our use cases. Knowing we can make these changes without disrupting our Reserved Instances and Savings Plans coverage gives us confidence that these fleet updates won’t jeopardize our cost savings.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

They help us understand the cost loopholes in our Infra and provide us with valuable info saving us thousands of dollars. Also they show cost visibility of our AI models in bedrock, which is a cherry on top :)

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

I believe it is heavily tailored towards AWS, if i want deep and equal automations across GCP, it lacks that. But the data is enough for me to deep dive in GCP myself, so overall i am happy

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us identity infra wastage- we have 3 year commitments, and got to know from nops, that they were not even fully utilised. Also gives us data on unattached volumes, underutilised clusters, and older snapshots.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

I like how nOps simplifies cloud management, making it much easier for me to handle. It also helps me with AWS cost optimization and provides great resource visibility, which are really valuable features for me. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy, which made getting started with nOps a breeze.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

I find the learning curve for some of the advanced features in nOps challenging. It could be improved with step-by-step tutorials and guided walkthroughs of the features.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

The developer API combined with nOps' container-level cost visibility. It breaks EKS spend all the way down to per-namespace and per-application cost (the Cluster Application Cost view), which native AWS billing tags never gave us, and it surfaces idle "Excess Capacity" we'd otherwise never have caught. Because it's all exposed through a clean API, we pulled org-wide cost, per-app breakdowns, and Savings Plan/RI coverage straight into our own automated weekly and monthly reports. The clincher: nOps' figures reconcile to the dollar against AWS Cost Explorer, so we treat it as our source of truth rather than just another dashboard telling a different story.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

The main friction was the developer API's discoverability. The endpoint paths aren't clearly documented — they're spread across a few different prefixes and the OpenAPI/Swagger spec sits behind a session login, so we spent time probing to find the right cost/usage endpoints. A few things we wanted (like the org-level savings summary) are only exposed in the UI rather than via the API key, and generating the API key itself — with the RSA signature-verification step — was more involved than expected. None of it was a blocker: once we found the right endpoints everything worked and reconciled cleanly. But clearer API reference docs and fuller API-to-UI parity would make integrations a lot faster.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

nOps solves AWS cost visibility and attribution across a multi-account, EKS-heavy estate. Before, most of our spend was effectively unattributable  native billing tags left the majority of cost untagged, so we couldn't reliably say which app or team drove a change. nOps gives us cost broken down to the namespace, application, and container level, plus an idle "Excess Capacity" metric that flags reclaimable EKS capacity we couldn't see before. It also manages our Savings Plans and RIs, so commitment coverage is handled rather than guessed at.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

To start, We've had nOps for almost two years, and it instantly saved our organization several thousand dollars a month, while we strategically implemented longer term cost saving items and architectures. It saves you money 'now' - and gives you better visibility across your entire AWS Organization. Giving nOps the reigns to savings plans and node selection gave me and my team time to focus on core architectural cost saving strategies, but still save money in the process.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

There have been bumps - a few mis-sized instances, or heavy handed automations. These were quickly acknowledged and addressed by nOps. While not ideal in operations, the service and communication gave me ease and understanding.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Savings plan delegation - No more managing what savings plans are expiring when. 
Node selection automation - Allowing nOps to Choose the right cost/performance balanced nodes. 
Future - Container right sizing, for optimizing container and EKS efficiency.

I have been using nOps Compute Co-Pilot for several months, and it has significantly optimized our AWS EC2 costs. The platform's ability to continuously manage, scale, and optimize our compute resources ensures we're always getting the best deals. One standout feature is their 100% commitment utilization guarantee, where they provide credits for any unused Reserved Instances (RIs) they've recommended, adding an extra layer of financial assurance.

They are very transparent and are truly committed to saving you money. Integration is straightforward, and their dashboard is useful. Their customer support is quick to respond, knowledgeable, and they exceeded my expectations in how they solved my issues.

Certain pages of their documentation could be a little clearer, but it is not out of the industry norm from my experience.

The nOps dashboard is very well constructed, and easy to navigate. The team are super helpful, and proactive in working with us to review usage and savings opportunities.

The time the nOps team spend with us on a regular basis, has helped us save thousands of dollars.

I will work with nOps any time I am in a complex AWS environment are the team and the product are great.

Earlier versions of the dashboard were much more difficult to navigate. Subsequent updates have made it easier.

It was an easy process to integrate into our AWS environment. They also have excellent reporting and the cost savings have been tremendous.

1. No need to worry about reserving EC2 instances whether my workload is running for long or short time<br>2. Clear picture about how much cost save and utilization of resources<br>3. Useful for saving high workload cost by utilizing intelligent action for spot instances selection and bid

The ability to easily query across all my AWS accounts to analyze spend and obtain details on resources and non resources.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

It's behind AWS data by about 24 hours due to having to wait for the CUR report. Only supports AWS. It would be great to analyze GCP the same way.

**What problems is nOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides an easier way to query our resources across all of our AWS accounts to analyze cost and identifies spend anomalies than using AWS cost explorer. It also analyzes our compute usage and automatically purchases savings plans accordingly.

nOps has proven to be a game-changer for our AWS management. The installation process was refreshingly straightforward, and we were up and running in no time. The user-friendly interface made it easy for our team to navigate, even for those with minimal experience in cloud management.

The real magic of nOps, however, lies in its ability to automate and optimize our AWS environment effortlessly. The automated features take the guesswork out of resource allocation, continuously monitoring and identifying areas where we can streamline and cut costs. This has translated into tangible savings for our organization, ensuring that we're getting the most out of our AWS investment.

nOps has simplified our AWS management, making it not only easy to install but also delivering substantial cost savings through its powerful automation. It's a tool that lets us focus on our core business while ensuring our AWS resources are optimized for maximum efficiency and minimum cost.

Using nOps has been remarkably straightforward, particularly when activating their Compute CoPilot feature. This tool effortlessly scrutinizes our account, efficiently securing Reserved Instances (RI) and Savings Plans (SP) tailored to our requirements. In just a few weeks, we witnessed substantial savings that resonated with nOps' initial commitments.

Beyond its user-friendly interface and immediate cost-saving capabilities, Compute CoPilot also furnishes invaluable accounting insights. Additionally, nOps offers complimentary dashboards that, in my view, offer a significantly more practical means of visualizing AWS costs.

Some of the seldom-used tools in nOps have exhibited several bugs. Yet, one commendable aspect of the nOps team is their swift responsiveness to all inquiries, consistently delivering fixes within a matter of hours or days.

The only slight drawback to nOps is having to run another Organization in AWS. Even this has very little effort and is Read-Only.

The Cost Report generated by nOps has truly been the best feature I have been using now for a while. nOps has alleviated the complexities and burdens associated with financial management and cost tracking. The ability to access this consolidated Cost Report directly from nOps Dashboard saves my time a lot.

I have personally encountered some challenges when utilizing the forecasting section. In my experience, this particular aspect of the platform could benefit from improvements to enhance its usability.

**What do you like best about nOps?**

Through nOps you can easily tag your resources for MAP through easily, prioritizing resources that are the most costly. It takes only one click and is easy to do vs. natively on the AWS platform. nOps also has risk-free cost savings, which again makes it easy to save money through one click.

**What do you dislike about nOps?**

No real downsides that I have noticed as it is a "free" platform.

Makes it easy to monitor and navigate through the AWS MAP process. It has also been able to make cost saving very easy through one-click without risk. It can be hands-off.

It is great to have such cost effective solution that meets our needs perfectly.Not only helped us save a significant amount of money on our Aws and lamda instances but has given flexibility to pay only for what we use.

The downside of the platform is it does not give full information on what workloads or recommendations they enable in order to save those extra cost. However our company really likes the platform. It's very effective

The solution has allowed us to focus on our core infrastructure rather than spending engineering cycles on finding cost -reduction opportunities.

I recently switched to nOps for my DevOps initiatives, and I'm so glad I did! It's an intuitive and comprehensive platform that provides detailed insights into our cloud usage and cost trends. It's been incredibly helpful in identifying and eliminating unnecessary cloud costs and automating DevOps processes. The platform is much better than competing products like CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, and Cloudability. I highly recommend nOps for any organization looking to streamline its software delivery and DevOps transformation.

One thing I dislike about nOps is that it is not as customizable as some of the competing solutions. While it offers a wide range of features, it does not offer the same level of flexibility as some of the other cloudops tools offer.

None so far.  nOps solution is working as expected.

With AWS cost explorer, it was almost impossible to understand the cost in detail, however, with nOps dashboard, we have finally visualized the cost and verified each server and service. We were finally able to determine the unnecessary servers and services with confidence. From the second month we use nOps, we were able to reduce running cost by 18-20%.
