What do you like best about Nomic Networks?

What do you like best about Nomic Networks?

Placing the Sentinel IPS in-line with our WAN connection allows us to see all malicious and scanning traffic. This has been incredibly eye-opening. One of the greatest features of the Sentinel Outpost is the network cloaking feature. This helps you hide from would-be threats trying to scan your network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nomic Networks?

It's not something I particularly dislike but it is an option that would be nice. I think it would be slick if Sentinel Managed Network Security Services offered a smaller, less-expensive product for "the little guys" that may not have the budget for their services. Currently, there's a one-size-fits-all appliance but it would be nice to see different products at different price points/bandwidth capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Nomic Networks:

Sentinel Managed Network Security Services is good at hiding from the bad guys but doesn't hide anything from you. If you're looking for a managed IPS that isn't a "black box" and provides you with actionable insights and visibility, this is the team you should be working with. The network cloaking feature is a huge plus. We receive reports daily that show just how much work it is doing to allow our firewall and router to handle more of what they are needed to do without worrying about all of the extra traffic. Their product is an added layer in our layered approach to securing our internal networks. We look for products that are effective without a lot of care and feeding and so far Sentinel fits the bill. Both my daily tasks, and project work are greatly assisted by Sentinel. My attack surface is reduced by their automated processes and thwarts attempts on our assets before they can be executed. Detailed reporting and easy-to-understand reports can be a huge difference maker in maintaining a strong security posture. Thanks to Sentinel and their excellent products and staff, I can gather attacker reconaissance, and what attempts are being made while still defending our assets and not exposing any sensitive data.
