Nexus by Cosmon Reviews & Product Details

Nexus is the AI agent for mechanical engineers, adopted by hardware teams across automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. It runs natively inside the CAD, CAE, and PLM tools your team already uses: SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA, Creo, Fusion 360, Onshape, Ansys, COMSOL, Abaqus, Star-CCM+, and Teamcenter. Give Nexus a task in plain language and it does the work: configuring boundary conditions, contacts, and material parameters for simulation; running full Design of Experiments parametric sweeps and synthesizing results into comparative tables; generating GD&T callouts and technical drawings; running DFM checks and tolerance stack-ups against ASME Y14.5; and searching your PLM. When a study completes, Nexus generates a fully structured technical report One instruction, one report. No copy-paste, no formatting work. Nexus operates on an engineer approval basis. It never signs off autonomously. Anything flagged as a judgment call is handed back to the engineer before execution. Every step is logged, traceable, and reversible inside your own tools. Nexus surfaces its reasoning at each stage so you can audit the logic behind it as well as the output. Nexus is SOC2 certified and can run fully on-premises. CAD files, simulation inputs, and PLM files and records never leave your network. No vendor ingestion. No training on your geometry. Try Nexus for free: www.cosmon.com
