It is a great solution to get to keep updated on your industry and personal interests. One thing I like about Netvibes is how easy its to set up your account with the platform. You have to signup, pick up your interests and you got your personalised news feed. You can also add new based on keywords that might interest you. You can also customise your dashboard using drag and drop feature and arrange them to your liking. The option to save articles or news from your dashboard is quite useful at times, especially when you're out of time and keep the article to read at a later time. There is a search feature in the dashboard in case you want to filter the news with a specific keyword, which is helpful. The pricing must be mentioned here if you only want to get the news and nothing else, youre free to use it forever. In premium options, you can get great support answers in 24 hours just by paying 2 dollars a month which is a hell of a deal. Technically Netvibes is a simple platform to collect the main headlines from the web and put it all together into your dashboard where you can analyse them. the best thing you dont get random data but whats interesting to you. when signing up you can select your interests and it will show up in the dashboard. the updates are available in two languages, English and French. the dashboard is really nice, its arranged with different tabs showing diffrenet interests. topic watch is a helpdul feature in netvibes, you can configure it to do perform different actions when one topic pops up in your interest like you'll get an email. in the dashboard there are many apps which are actually sources of content , they contain main newspapers, magazines,blogs and more. you can easily configure them by adding and app or deleting an app if its not interesting to you. social analytics in another feature of the service that analyses the social networks for your interests as well as keep track of your social media pages. **What do you dislike about Netvibes?** the support is good but they usually take hours to reply. the free plan available on the platform is very limited and there isn;t much you can do with it other than reading social media contents. the social media analytics function is only available with a premium plan. when topic watch is on you have to configure them really well or else you get spammed with irrelevant content. **Recommendations to others considering Netvibes:** this is a real time saver, if youre interested try this platform for once and you will never leave, **What problems is Netvibes solving and how is that benefiting you?** Netvibes helps you find updates with keywords of your interest. there is also a social media management and analytics platform within the site which is costly. ### 5. In addition to the RSS modules, it has a multitude of apps, from accessing email to checking the weather, including to-do lists, twitter access, bookmarks and even a HTML editor. The user has a lot of freedom to organize and configure how these modules will appear in her page and it is also possible to create additional tabs. Finally, Netvibes allows users to create "potions" that automate tasks, similar to the functions of IFTTT (https://ifttt.com/). **What do you dislike about Netvibes?** The mobile app still can be a bit confusing to use. This is understandable, since typically netvibes users will have a lot of content, which is hard to fit in small screens. It's very handy to push RSS feeds to, but its built in connectors also allow easy integration to monitor hundreds of other sources, such as Twitter or Facebook or Google Analytics. **What do you dislike about Netvibes?** Netvibes didn't really make the transition into the mobile space. The mobile website is still a bit lackluster and buggy, there are no mobile apps. This should receive more focus, i.e. there should be push notifications on my mobile around very urgent topics. **Recommendations to others considering Netvibes:** If you don't have a strong mobile use case, I would definitely check out Netvibes as an option to keep a team up to date on content. **What problems is Netvibes solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're mainly solving the challenge to stay up to date on certain topics. Let's say we roll out a new eMail CRM system for a client. I want to make sure that the client receives all new information regarding that system, also relevant discussions.
