This is really helpful in doing short term debugging. We used it as a stop gap for the lack of network management in a given area of our network. The fact that it will auto draw the network into Visio is a very cool management demo! **What do you dislike about NetBrain Next-Gen?** Way too complex. Looks easy at first plug in IPs of devices userID/password/SNMP info and go. Well not so much. Once the dveices are discovered the auto draw feature did not work so well. I had to manually change the map then the map became static and changes to the map typically did not go well. **Recommendations to others considering NetBrain Next-Gen:** Dont spend too much on the Enterprise suite. Try the consultant edition first. Once we did the Enterprise version the complexity was way off the charts. Tried the remote proxy server and other "functions" did not run. Felt like I wasted the money on enterprise but go more value with the consulting edition. **What problems is NetBrain Next-Gen solving and how is that benefiting you?** Short term network management and reduce risk from bad network design pathing and correction. We increased the speed of transactions 10x by finding the bad network path. Worth every dime for that one find. ### 16.
