Being sure that my information is protected by strong encryption algorithms makes me feel safe and free to sleep at night. Well, we are glad for having this, anyway, since we are in charge of the large volume of customer information. **What do you dislike about MyDiamo?** Setting it up was the hardest part indeed. It was more drawn than expected to set up everything, and furthermore it needed to be added in with our earlier database system. Although the documentation is detailed, it might be superimposed with some user-friendly instructions, especially for those who are comparatively not tech-savvy. **What problems is MyDiamo solving and how is that benefiting you?** MyDiamo crypts the database by means of encryption, thus protecting it from unauthorized access if there is a security breach. This is critical for our business since it entails regulation of privacy and the issue of heavy fines which results from noncompliance. This makes it simple and easy to use. The comprehensive report it churns out is easy when auditing reports. **What do you dislike about MyDiamo?** It isn't widely accepted yet, which makes me ponder upon its long-term usability. Also, their UI lags behind 8-10years. otherwise, technically speaking it's an awesome app that you would want to secure your database. **What problems is MyDiamo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our team is using MySQL's open-source database in our cloud. We evaluated the product for some on prem customers. When it comes to top cloud provider instances like aurora, there are well integrated managed solutions from cloud vendors. **What do you dislike about MyDiamo?** If your reads and writes basically IOPS is mission critical for your application, there is a slight compromise that we have to go through. But one has to find the balance between feature offered vs performance **What problems is MyDiamo solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have banking partners who are very critical and they don't want to compromise their data. So the idea is the workstations used by developers are to be encrypted. So we evaluated this solution. ### 8.
