The best is that to create good samples I just need to know the length of the silences in a video and fill that length with quick bits that complete the clip I normally create 3 or 4 versions and ask for feedback with my team and pick the best rated or start over if there is an agreement that none fits well with the theme of the video. **What do you dislike about Music Maker?** It is limited in the sound quality, you aren't going to create a great soundtrack, it is a professional tool but it's not a swiss knife like other tools. So don't expect this to create a great soundtrack unless you are shooting for an indie game or other small project. **Recommendations to others considering Music Maker:** A good GPU and 16GB ram is preferred for sound jobs but with music maker you can work in hardware from 2005 so it's a perfect fit for low specs but adjust your expectations accordingly **What problems is Music Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I get a video that needs some audio I use this as a first step to animate the mood of it and fill the gaps with small sound bits. ### 2. It has a large collection of audio tracks for use, and if needed you can buy a lot more. Perfect tool to create audio tracks for business presentations. **What do you dislike about Music Maker?** There seem to be a limit on what you can create, so it's not suited for free form composing (at least not out of the box), and the performance is not always the best, having some issues with my Nahimic sound driver. **Recommendations to others considering Music Maker:** It's easy to use, but sometimes feel that it can be a bit limited. With some experience on the product, it can probably be a good choice, specially taking into account other software on the industry and it's pricing. The collections itself are very good, and that can expand what you can producte with the software **What problems is Music Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some video game music for game prototypes and concepts. Really recommended for this task. Also it is very suited for trailer and presentation videos (even that I haven't used in that way yet) ### 3. Also you gotta be sure where your loop folder are so you can reach them faster when you want to add personalized loops that you made. **What problems is Music Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am more of an academic musician, so using a daw like Music Maker made my life as a producer easier, I can produce tracks for my clients in a fast an reliable way, and of course, with the looping options, I can update my library for the new genres that come to my studio. ### 6. It’s a very easy to learn and use for things such vlogging, adding sound effects, and just let your imagination take you to create what you want. **What do you dislike about Music Maker?** I wouldn’t consider this a very professional software. I would say it’s good for a starter. There are a few other free softwares that you can use to achieve the same result. I also noticed it was lagging/slow when you load saved projects. **Recommendations to others considering Music Maker:** If you’re in the market for a affordable starter music software. This is a good start. Price of extra soundpools. Problematic sharing of soundpools with MAGIX MUSIC MAKER JAM. More tutorials would be very helpfull. Slow loading of saved projects. Soundpools resources user interface is not designed.
