I have used MGP over the last decade and they have failed to develop any significant additions (phone app, HSA, budgeting,ext.) in that time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MGP is pretty robust in the data you can enter and situations you can model in. There are some newer features like Yodlee and blocks. It's a pretty strong piece of software compared to the competitors, hence its popularity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you use this very frequently, then the price is worth it. Otherwise, it's an expensive software that I may use less than a handful of times a year. I don't like the reports. Customization is not at the level I would like. There are lot's of items that are default that I believe just make the report confusing for the client.

A big disappointment was the inability to cancel my month to month billing. Unless you are absolutely sure you want to use this software, I would not subscribe. There is only so much you can learn in a 1 month trial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- What if Worksheet and Supersolve are a great way to show clients how different changes in their plan can change the probability of success

- Insurance needs section is useful to calculate if client is over or underinsured

- Not the most visually appealing interface, other software has surpassed them with more modern interfaces

- Client facing experience is not the best, they have made efforts recently by adding a live chat support but it should be made self explanatory enough that chat would not be needed
