So far not found any issues also in regards to performance while using it for coding too. But now my machine is upgraded to Monterey and I am happy though with latest version. I was using an older version of Mac while building my scripts which would at least take 15 minutes on a windows machine but with the older version, it was 3-4 minutes. but with Mojave surprisingly it reduced to 1-2 minute. Technology Specialist I Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 7/13/2021 "Extremely stable, and probably the pinnacle of MDM manageability." 5/5 What do you like best about Mojave? Mojave marks the last time privacy settings were easily manageable via MDM and PPPC. In 10.15.x and 11.x, mandatory user-approval brings several critical management settings to a halt - notably screen sharing/recording tools. We specifically held off on updating in favor of using Mojave for a couple more years for this very reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Mojave? Not much to dislike here - features have been continually added through Mojave, and were not unreasonably removed until later versions. A few management tools like AD binding are lacking (as in previous versions), but that's easily remedied via tools like NomAD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Mojave: Mojave is getting on in years, but is still a solid version - especially if you're dependent on stable remote management. Later updates have made administration via MDM more unwieldy, in the name of enhanced user privacy - which is admirable, although in my opinion heavy-handed in its application. Mojave has been our favorite version for maximum efficiency with our remote management solution. Now that we're starting to switch to newer versions, we have to deal with the headaches that come with it. I wish we had the flexibility to stay on Mojave for a longer time. I updated a few days ago and I haven't had any issues with chrome crashing (was an ongoing issue with prior OS after chrome update). What do you dislike about Mojave? The download and install took quite some while, which I hadn't anticipated. Recommendations to others considering Mojave: It's worth the lengthy upgrade time. It is fast and clean, file storage is obviously the greatest improvement, I don't really use the stacks other than on the besktop, but they're pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Mojave? The biggest problem I have is when the os looses power, postgres generally will fail to come back up, most likely due to the way that the new file storage works.
