One of the most valuable aspects of Mitek’s solution is the consortium data, which provides deep insights and strengthens our confidence in the validity of a check. The efficiency gains are remarkable and our fraud specialists now spend far less time reviewing checks and more time focusing on other critical tasks. And they love (yes, I said love) the MiControl console as it's user friendly and easy to navigate.

Mitek has taken a very arduous and all too often highly manual and subjective process for check and deposit fraud detection and brought it into the modern world. Using AI and risk modeling on top of their strong foundation of image capture and utilization, you get a solution that not only accurately identifies suspicious items, but presents them in a way that if efficient and highly digestible for your fraud analyst, your risk and business partners. Applying a network effect allows the industry to benefit and serves to further devalue the threat, as one institutions deposit fraud is another institutions's check fraud, so cross connectivity is king. Since implementing Mitek, we have cut our losses for inclearing check fraud very quickly. I like that Mitek can work and adapt to our data and have the ability to do real time reviews. our other system is not real time nor can it be configured real time at this time. Implementation was not a hard process, which made the process less stressful. In addition, Mitek is always willing to listen to our ideas on how to make their system even better. My experience has been very positive with Mitek, but like any vendor, there are things to maintain and enhance. While Mitek has been around for sometime, they are constantly updating their systems with new releases of new features and at times those releases have not been fully successful. It is taking sometime to get additional features that are critical to be successful. As a user of Mitek’s identification solution, i am impressed with the product and their understanding of our needs and commintment and their ongoing support when we need it

- A user friendly customer experience that is easy and simple to navigate round whether this is on a desktop or mobile device

- A simple document verification process: the verification process is so simple to use, whether you are the person uploading the document, or you are the end user reviewing the document provided and deciding to accept or decline these document. The verification product help with identifying document and anti-impersonation issues and also reduces operational impacts by being able to spot suspect documents as early as possible.

- Mitek’s support team. Whenever we’ve encountered an issue or needed clarification, their speed of response and knowledge of a solution is a huge help and really impressive.

- Supporting regulations and keeping us safe As a financial institution, it helps mitigate financial risk and ensures our compliance with regulatory requirements. Cost is always a point of contention; higher cost is a barrier to customer adoption, limiting the market reach. Since the solution is heavy on PII data, it would be nice if the back end services can be hosted on the client network which would minimize privacy's concerns data in transit.
