As the title says this software is a secure, reliable and fast ERP system. In some cases the command line mode is more comfortable especially the banking cash transactions are straight forward and fast compared to any other GUI software. Reports are in raw format that are difficult to sort. As a beginner it might feel like an uphill task to remember so many commands for performing various tasks but with experience the difficulty is reduced. The overall concept is nice and he handles the information well. It does do that job. it is a needed software for manufacturing.It provides quick inventory checking, and thorough history analysis. Purchase history and stock movements are easy to track. Technical help is readily available.Works with Quick books integration which was necessary for our company as we operate as a manufacture but also sell our product. Misys has product portfolio which caters to almost all the biggest financial institutions across the world along with several legacy products. Salary is above market and they pay very well to laterals. Biggest drawback is Indian management consists of people who are sitting there for decades without gaining significant and somehow surviving and therefore makes it difficult for others to survive in such environment. There were times long ago when they were not responding to needs properly. These times are long gone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were using the confirmation functionality of the system. It was always reliable and accurate. The customer support was always available and one of the best in the market. I also appreciate the fact that all banks were connected to MISys and the confirmation time was almost instant. It was a very stable process without any repetitive issues. The reporting capabilities were not as I would like to. The reports are difficult to generate and especially for past data. Still this is a very minor drawback. Customization cost is very high, Treasury (Opics) product does not work properly and system architecture is very old fashioned. System interface should be more smarter, Internet Banking product was not good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MIsys has a wonderful interface which makes it easy to use. It has simplicity in its UI which makes using MIsys a good experience and easy to use. Overall the system is good and has good support teams to assist in case of any technical support required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using MISys mainly for inventory and not as an MRP system.

It does have MRP capabilities, but I am not using them.

I like the fact that you can tailor the software to your company's individual needs by purchasing only the modules that you need. We can keep a better record of the costs of manufacturing products. This aids in determining costs for customers. It so much better to know what our products actually cost. We can also see the product history of ins and outs to follow a product and see if it is used for manufacturing or sold as is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are some things that make MiSys difficult to work with. It is nice that MRP runs all orders that were entered since it was last run by that person, but we don't want that. We ended up with duplicate orders because of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
